Maybe the worst tripel i tried: neither strong spicy or fruity flavor. No remarkable aftertaste.

33cl bottle at home. Hazy blond coloured beer with large diminishing white head and only few carbonation visible. Yeasty hopped fruity hinted aroma. Full sparkling and creamed palate. Finish is herby bitter ending sweet.

ABUSEDGOAT (2901) - California, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Hazy golden, moderate head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma is yeast, sugar, somewhat fruity. Medium bodied, tasty, drinkable.

Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JUL 31, 2013
TheBaroma is yeast, and apple skins, with musty/funky notes. Pours a golden amber with a white ring and no lacing. The taste is lightly sweet - fruit forward with a quick dry grainy finish. Sweetness lingers in the aftertaste. Medium- light body with crisp carbonation. Overall, ok, but not my favorite Triple.

750 ml. corked and caged bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of malt, yeast and fruit. Overripe apple flavors, malt, citrus and a little bit of bitterness on the finish.

jmgreenuk (10339) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUN 16, 2013
Bottle at Brux Ale, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a golden medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is dry yeast leading to a strong alcoholic liqourice bitter flavour with loads of Belgian yeast. A rather refreshing, spicy and flavour packed Tripel. One of the best I’ve had and I’m not a fan of the style.

33 cl. bottle @ Gollem. That bright kind of golden, slightly hazy, big white head. Nose is huge esters, bitter grass & floral, bitter floral hops,… mmm I mean this is not a good way, I mean. Taste is this overdone BE esters, pure grass, floral, flowers, bitter spices in a totally overdone, mainstream type of thing,… you know… like a bad stab at Duvel. Totally over-carbonated. I don’t think that I am being very clear here but I know what I mean. I don’t think that anyone ever reads my reviews anyway. They are just my thing. If you are that one person who has ever done so for some weird reason. You must be pretty confused now. Don’t read my other reviews – they are even more confusing than me. Beware.

Somewhat cloudy with decent lasting white foam, lacing to glass and upper lip. This is how it should be. Nice triple aroma, but than taste is bit dissapointing. Too little spunk, bit earthy, bit too sweet. Pitty. (Velp 201305)

Swaroga (2224) - Warszawa, POLAND - MAY 23, 2013
33cl bottle. Cloudy yellow with medium, white head. Nose : citrus, peach and banana, yeast and flowers. Sip : medium body, decent carbonation. Creamy. Sweet with caramel background. Fruity with dominating esters. Still well balanced. Easy to drink. The finish is mild and mellow on bitterness. It leaves mostly fruity flavors. Ok.

Stubby bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a new tulip glass since my girlfriend broke my old one and she is now forbidden of even touching my beer glasses. ABV 9%. 2.32€ Golden yellow colour on the body, only a tiny bit hazy. Two fingers of soapy, snow white head. Good retention and a couple of rings of lacing created on the glass as the foam went down. Aroma is yeasty, with a mix smell of floral and fruity hops following. The high alcohol makes it smell at first like a cheap, high alcohol pilsner, but it becomes better as it warms up, with the fruity side shining a bit more. Strong taste, with the alcohol very notable and in-your-face. Nicely balanced between sweet and bitter though. A bit more than average carbonation, medium body. Good beer, it would be even better if the alcohol was somewhat hidden and the florar or fruity taste more up front. Personal opinion.
