The beer has got a hazy amber colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of malt and Belgian yeast. taste of malt, dark bread, rye, caramel and vanilla. Mild finish.

First impression of Aroma. Reminiscence of the smelly sticky tables of Brussels underground bars a decade ago. Tastes a bit off. More like a cider. Not bad but not beer-enough to me.

Nordcore (1452) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2017
Bottle 33 cl. Amber, clear with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hops caramel and spices. Light sweet, light bitterness with a malt and caramel end.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Gluten-free says all : no real taste nor flavour...

Ysok02 (1518) - Mons, BELGIUM - MAR 11, 2017
Robe ambrée, fine mousse peu persistante. Nez sur la fourrure, le caramel, pointe hydrocarburées et animale. Bouche à l’attaque maltée, de la sucrosité, une bulle quasi absente et une finale épicée. Décidemment pas mon style.

33cl bottle : strong yeast aroma with light caramel touch, very carbonated in my case (in bottle re-fermentation too strong ? ) - Dry finish with a not so good mouldy aroma remaining in mouth.

Amber brown pour. Herbal and grassy with a bit of faux malty caramel. It’s ok, but unless I need to, not something I’ll go back to.

kermis (12869) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 26, 2016
Bottle shared (as Malteni Amber). Hazy orange brown with a ring cream head. Aroma of herbs, malt, caramel, overripe dark fruit and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [13-07-2016]

3.2
MarkoNm (2698) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - SEP 14, 2016
Pours a hazy dark amber, almost coppery color, topped with a medium big off-white head, nicely lasting. Some nice caramel in the noce with a grassy feel added later on. Medium sweet with caramel, some mild bittery feel later on. Gentle and proper ,easily drinkable, medium bodied.
