Balmy and creamy foam, medium duration. Much dark orange color, little bubbly one. Complex aroma; must notes, much winy and flowery. Enough prickly taste though not excessive; notes of soft candy, sweet malty, elevated alcoholic perception. Much perfumed and vinous. Lightly dense and syrupy. With character. rocfort (7) - Rome, ITALY - NOV 20, 2005 does not count
Amber with firm and lacy head. Caramel with dark toffee aromas. A bit sour and dry palate with spice and malty finish. Overall a good belgian amber. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 17, 2005
Orange/amber, white head. Nutty, creamy aroma, some perfume. Flavor is nuttyand somewhat spicy, milky and creamy notes with some vanilla. Hoppy finish. jbrus (4989) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2005
Bottled. Aroma of nice strong hops and apple. Amber color, beige head, few lace. Light sweet, hoppy, peppery, bit of iron. Sparkling, medium body, light dry. Complex, well hopped but still it gave me an amateuristic feeling.

Caramel cookies and bread in the nose. Mild lactic sourness. Roasted toffee and amrzipan on the palate. Metallic with some candy sugar notes and some hay like hop presence. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 15, 2005
(Bottled) Hazy amber color with sparkling carbonation and a large, firm and lacy head. Toffee-malty, British-style bitter aroma with a hint of metal and strawberry. Slightly sour and acidic berries and dark toffee aroma. Long, lingering, somewhat bittersweet berry aftertaste. Medium-bodied, smooth-carbonated and bitter palate. A quite enjoyable, British-Belgian brew. TBone (18106) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 9, 2005

Hazy light amber, big foamy off-white head. Mild grassy nose with notes of yeast. Carbonated, chocolaty with toffee notes. Soft, slightly grassy hoppy palate. Maybe not a big Belgi but quite interesting.
Fruity amber german beer, fantastic flavour, wonderful colour, would buy again!
