TBone (18223) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 9, 2005
Bottled (BB 09/2006)
Hazy light amber, big foamy off-white head. Mild grassy nose with notes of yeast. Carbonated, chocolaty with toffee notes. Soft, slightly grassy hoppy palate. Maybe not a big Belgi but quite interesting.

Bottle. (As Ambree Biologique) It pours a fingerthick dense off-white head over a slightly hazy orange to amber body. Lots of carbonation going on. Dried fruits and caramel starts the aroma, followed by some fresh fruits. There’s also a touch of fruits. Effervescent, full-bodied mouthfeel with flavors of dried fruits, caramel, white sugar, some fresh fruits and a fine bitterness balancing the sweetness nicely. I would have liked a less anonymous beer, but at least it’s easy to drink and without flaws. And it also looks nice when all is drank, with lacings clinging to the glass. (081222)

Benzai (16682) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2011
Bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Dark amber color. Decent smell and taste. Low carbo and body low to medium. Not really special but decent.

2.9
MiP (15973) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2008
Bottle, 6.5%. Yeasty, vinous aroma. Sparkling, hazy brown colour. Nice and big, lacy, creamy, stable white head. The flavour starts with some metal that disappears, more or less, after a while. Mild, semi-sweet maltiness. Late bitterness. Rather mild and with a little metal, otherwise OK.

(33cl, best by 9/06) Medium off-white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, mango, cherry Kool Aid, caramel, light blueberry. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, earthy, berry, some alcohol astringency. Medium body, low carbonation.

bierkoning (13687) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 22, 2011
Bottle @ home. Amber color. Just a touch vinous aroma. Malty yet thin floral soft caramelly flavor, flowing into a soft earthy bitter finish with notes of matured grapejuice. Not bad.

Rune (13508) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 26, 2009
Organic beer (Ambree Biologique), 330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Wealthy head of gushing, slightly off-white, foam on top of a hazy, amber body. Firm lacing on the glass. Promising aroma of dry, caramel malts. Caramel-chocolate malts in flavour gradually replaced by Belgian ale fruitiness. Ends with notes of yeasty bitterness. Good, natural carbonation. Easy to drink and, in fact, rather thin on the swallow (Tromsø, 25.04.2009).

3.2
bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 1, 2007
(Bottle, BB 12/04) Pours a lightly cloudy maple body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of toffee, dates, and spices. Flavor of toasted malt, caramel, and nuts.
