Cloudy amber with medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with yeasty and caramel notes. Very sweet flavor with peachy and yeasty notes. KyotoLefty (10376) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 20, 2010
Draught at Doll Dress. Dark amber with orange. Dry, spicy aroma with lots of grassy hops. Earthy, dry, grassy flavor with a touch of sour. Fruity and very restrained. Not at all sweet, but a bit too sour--old? Crisp body. Decent.

Moderate gushing to yellow-tinted head, huge and dense; hazy dark-amber beer. Slight aroma of (sorry) horsesh*t, vegetable, freshly dried hops, farmyard, iron. Hayish flavour, much sweeter than expected from the nose, caramel. Just a faint, metallic hopflavour in the palate. More toffee, probably iron, better masked as in the nose. Medium-bodied, velvety texture. Quite good Belgian speciale, Walloon version. Vies with the best, actually. MoritzF (9983) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 3, 2009
(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a big and light-beige foamy head. Sweet and yeasty caramel-malty aroma with a distinctive nutty touch and notes of caramel and ginger. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty and nutty taste with toffee and yeasty and spicy accents; moderately sweet, malt-accented finish with shy hoppy spots. Good. 03.XII.09 maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2004
Brown beer with a white head which retains itself beautifully. Good lacing also. Aroma is of sour berries and freshly plained pine. Taste is typically Belgian with candy sugar coming through. As I said typically Belgian but only average within its class. Svesse (8616) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 20, 2012
(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 3 May 2012) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, chocolate and toffee. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, dried fruit, citrus peel and a mild, dusty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite decent, but there’s nothing around to make it stand out. DruncanVeasey (8239) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2007
Murky red amber, spiralling bead, creamy white legs. Sweetish and malt-heavy like a biere du garde. Smoke, spruce and honey. Definitely some piney hop notes in there. A lick of copper penny. Distant alcohol. Tasty, but wouldn’t rush back to it.
