Dorqui (2258) - Brescia, ITALY - JAN 1, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Bottled 0,75L. Balmy and creamy foam, medium duration. Much dark orange color, little bubbly one. Complex aroma; must notes, much winy and flowery. Enough prickly taste though not excessive; notes of soft candy, sweet malty, elevated alcoholic perception. Much perfumed and vinous. Lightly dense and syrupy. With character.

jefcon (1853) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 2, 2009
A ruddy reddish color with a nice diminishing rocky head. Lots of dry grain aromas, along with light caramel and grasses. Thin front end of the palate is watery with some mineral. Towards the end, some bittering hops and warm, chocolate malts surface. Drying finish. Not all bad, but not too much substance here.

TaxiDriver (1775) - Stadland, GERMANY - JUL 13, 2010
Bottle. The beer smells fruity, light vanilla, a little bit sweet. The head is small, milky and white with a short duration. The body is orange. The taste is light metallic and fruity. The body is light and creamy with a lively carbonation.

rand (1700) - SWITZERLAND - APR 15, 2010

JoeinDahlem (1521) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 28, 2008
Simple, easy-going pale ale in a farmhouse style. Would be an easy pairing for all sorts of food. 33 cL bottle at Le Brunehault cafe in Goegnies-Chaussee village... we’re sitting in Belgium but France is literally across the street. Pours a classic amber color with thin white head. Sweetish, grainy nose with some cider notes. Tastes lightly sweet before the mild bitterness and dry finish. Not exciting but nice, basic, bready.

Kåstå (1273) - Mol, BELGIUM - NOV 2, 2002
Amber coloured with a big creamy head. Sweet malty woody aroma. The taste is woody and short.

aspidites (1272) - manteca, California, USA - APR 16, 2005
Caramel cookies and bread in the nose. Mild lactic sourness. Roasted toffee and amrzipan on the palate. Metallic with some candy sugar notes and some hay like hop presence.

OlJuntan64 (1265) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2002
Bourbon amber clear with large yellow-tan head and light lace. Grassy bitter hops, light fruit and faint coffee, smoked, and caramel malt aromas. Medium body with a slightly syrupy consistency and pleasing bitter sweet palate. Finish and aftertaste are sweetish caramel with that hint of smoke coming back again. A nice easy drinking beer.

Fukito (1059) - Santiago, CHILE - DEC 1, 2008
Bottle, october 08. Hazy amber golden color with a medium, bubbly white head and effervescent carb. Aroma is phenols with some spicy notes. A bit of solvent but not agressive. Spicy, fruity flavor with some phenollic yeasty notes. Quite bland. Neutral. Medium to light mouthfeel, too fizzy and with an abrupt and dry finish. Almost no aftertaste. Ok, rather boring belgian ale.

bp (922) - New York, New York, USA - APR 27, 2011
Bottle: pours dark amber, strong dark fruit aroma, taste of dark fruit, yeasty, candied sugar, thin bodied.
