Red-amber colored clear bear. Nice slightly off-white creamy head that slowly disappears. Fruity aroma. In the beginning I associate the taste with dark fruits, mainly prums but they fastly disappear and make place for a mild bitter, empty finish. Above average but not too much. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 29, 2013
On draught at na organic ale fest - nice intense copper color. Nose is sweet and grassy. Taste is also sweet / hints of apple, grape, syrup. Does have a faint piney accent.

Appearance: amber copper color. Medium, lasting and beige head.
Aroma: caramel malts smells with reminiscences to vanilla, some toffee, butterscotch and ripe fruits. Sticky aroma.
Flavor: caramel and light toast taste in the start, reminiscences of milk with coffee, butterscotch, vanilla and toffee. Yeasty progress. Mineralized aftertaste.
Palate: medium body, smooth texture and light to medium carbonation.
Remark: nice and sticky beer, with remarkable toffee and milk touch. But low hoppy and some mineralized excess.

An amber, clear ale with typical belgian spicy aroma. The flavour is fruity and a little spcy with a hint of caramel. Medium body. Burner (78) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - DEC 1, 2004

Amber with firm and lacy head. Caramel with dark toffee aromas. A bit sour and dry palate with spice and malty finish. Overall a good belgian amber. Hightserc (1) - Wesley Chapel, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2013 does not count
I’m disappointed by this gluten beer, just wish it had a little more bite. The guy at the liquor store I got this from said it wasn’t his favorite and Brunehaut does a better job with other gluten free beers they have, so I’ll be back.
