2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Taster on tap. Pours clear deep amber/brown with thin head. Light caramel aroma. Surprisingly medium body carries lovely mix of flavors. Overall, this makes for a good solid flavorful session amber with character. This may be their best beer, but i haven’t tasted them all yet...
Tap. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is stone fruit esters, caramel and cookie malt with spicy hops. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Travlr (25767) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 20, 2013
Draft at the source. Clear deep amber color. Aroma of freshly mown grass. Taste is grass, scallions, light pine. Nice. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 4, 2012
On tap at BAR. Pours amber with a lacy head. Aroma of cereal and caramel malts, some banana, and floral hops. Flavor about the same. Average texture. A pretty good beer for the style. dogfish120love (1339) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 20, 2011
Pours a rather clear amber with minimal lacing. Aroma is drenched on caramel, diacytel and fruit. The taste is sweet, but not too cloying.

Pours a dark brown color with a very thin white head. Not a lot of aroma. Definite maltiness on the tongue with a hint of maple syrup. The finish is a bit watery. joebudzjoe (676) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 21, 2011
Pours a dark amber with a minimal head and no lacing. The bar’s description of this beer highlights the malts in the beer, which is true, because I didn’t really get any hop flavor from this beer. A flat beer with strong overtones of maple syrup. CanIHave4Beers (4207) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - OCT 12, 2009
Boy I didn’t like this very much. Bad batch? For their sake I hope that’s all it was. Pours an amber color with a small head that falls flat pretty quickly. The aroma is lightly fruity but there is no doubt that there is butterscotch and diacetyl in there as well. The flavor has some baking soda and some butterscotch with a light bitterness and fruity character. MartinT (10037) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 20, 2009
My Bottom Line:hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 14, 2007
Simple caramel malts tend to dominate the herbal hops until the finish in this slightly incohesive Amber Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam laces atop the hazy amber.
-The aroma is once again very shy.
-The end result is still drinkable, but mostly forgettable and lacking a polished quality.
On tap at the brewpub.
On tap at the BruRoom Brew Pub. Poured a medium amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, and fruity. Tastes of caramel, floral, and had an herbalness to it. Light lacing left on the glass.
