Think about it. If nothing wasn’t here to keep things apart, everything would be one big, stressfull, balled up, messy thing. Probably boring too. Which is why pausing to enjoy nothing is a very good thing. With Hale to Nothing, of course. There’s nothing artificial or phoney in it. Only good stuff. Like organic malted barley and hops that give this ale its own, individual refreshing taste. We think that’s something special. So relax. Enjoy. Nothing in particular We use echological Pilsener- and Munchenermalt. For hops, we use echological Perle plus Centennial and Fuggles. It has a flavoury taste with a slightly hint of citrus. Hale is somewhat malty and well balanced.

It’s slightly hazy, warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, flower, hay and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, fruit, hay, a touch of citrus, and the finish is dry and refreshing.

330ml bottle. Clear copper with a white head. Chardboard, citrus, grain, fruit. A bit metallic in the light bitter finish.

Bottle 33cl from FoneFan thanks ! A copper amber beer with low head, nose is hoppy on the fruity side, peach, lichee and grass. Beer is very bitter with an enormous pine resin, lemon and diacetyl aroma, very strong and surprising, dry. Pungent with watery body and butter notes, aftertaste is very bitter with long duration.

Bottle 0,33L. Light, clear, copper colour, with small, white head. Hoppy aroma, some earthy yeasts and note of caramel. Taste is moderate bitter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David Cohen. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of slightly stale floral hops. Flavor has light malt sweetness, a bit grainy, and a decent bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. A bit past its prime but quite OK.

Clear light copper coloured body with an amber glow and a thin, one centimetre, fast-dying soapy white head. Aroma of pale malt, cardboard, funky candy sugar and a bit of off-flavours - nothing great. Super light-bodied; Watery, cardboardie, grassy and herbal flavours with almost nothing pleasant - pretty bland, and the flavours that do come through aren’t good at all. Aftertaste is mild with water, cardboard and a hint of grassy flavours - that’s it. Overall, a very bad beer and definitely not worth buying, let along buying and bringing back across the pond to drink at home. I sampled this stubby 33cL bottle purchased at System Bolaget in central Stockholm, Sweden on 29-June-2012 for SEK4,90 sampled at home on this side of the Atlantic in Washington on 26-November-2012.

CarlJonas (231) - Linköping, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2012
(Bottle) Clear goladen coloured liquid with big bubbles and a white head that completely disappears. There is a hint of citrus but also canned mushrooms and corn. The taste is a bit better but more like a hopped up International Lager than a Pale Ale. Pretty strong carbonation, thin body. I guess you’re supposed to be doing the environment a favour by drinking this beer, but on the other both you and the world would be even better off if you just don’t drink it at all.

Melker (266) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 5, 2012
Cheap pale ale but not worth the price at all. Some hops in the aroma, smells just like a boring lager to me. Malty taste with a slightly chemical, hoppy taste. There are som bitterness to it but not much.
