[email protected] Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts and toffee, and earthy notes. Flavour is sweet nectar, and alcohol with sweetness. A bit harsh in the end.

tfredvik (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 17, 2015
A perfect beer to celebrate the first snowy day in Oslo this winter, cheers to winter and to the darkness it brings! It pours a very deep copper body with a beige head that laces the glass well. Strong aroma that is dominated by dark caramel. Also some chocolate, dark fruits and dark berries. Strong flavour of dark caramel, dark fruits dried fruits, dark berries and burnt sugar. Moderate sweet and light bitter taste. Medium body, silky smooth texture and soft carbonation. A very nice winter warmer!

Hade lite högre förväntningar på denna. Smakar frukt men lite för tam. Smaken dör för snabbt.

kryon (3797) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 25, 2014
Pours clear brown with minimal head Aromas buttery caramel, floral hops, sweet fruit Taste has sweet caramel and tropical fruityness. Feel unbalanced, too sweet

arsol (1239) - NORWAY - DEC 22, 2014
rødbrun farge med lyst beige skum. Lukter av kaffe, karamell og svisker. Smaker noe krydret. Lett bitter ettersmak.

CloakedDagger (2703) - - DEC 17, 2014
Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with an off-white head. Nose is a bit....messy: rotty, tart. Medium body, some sweet caramel notes, again this rotten fruit and a dry, nutty finish. Wonder if it’s the yeast that messes this up pretty bad. 171214

djoeye (5072) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 27, 2014
Clear red-amber body (very red when held to the light), modest fawn apricot tart cream head, poor lacing. Aroma; floral hops, caramel malts, ashy barbecue notes, dark smoked fruits. Taste; roasted malts, resin, hops, fried prunes, smoked toffee honey fudges - dark finish with roasted malts, smoked fruits, surviving hops. Feels well bodied, medium carbonation. Overall an interesting xmas ale with roasted-smoked sides. [50cl brown bottle, 6.8%abv, BB250915, [email protected] Storheden Luleå, [email protected]]

Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 27, 2014
courtesy of Antonio Rey - pours a hazy dark red-amber beer with a little foam left; aroma of caramel and spicy hops; full-bodied, sweet and with some tart earthy bitterness; more spicy hoppiness in the finish - not much character

Vighals (4331) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2014
Mørk orangebrun klar med lavt beige skum. Bark, kaffe, sviske og noe alkohollukt. Mye sødme i denne, tung honning og karamell, kaffenyanser og syrlige bær. Noe krydder mot nellik. Vinøs
