Bottle, with a plasticized seal that is frustrating to break into. Once the cap is popped, the beer literally climbs its way out of the bottle-- like a gusher in slow motion. The pour needs frequent pauses to allow for the ridiculous over-carbonation, but once in the glass the beer looks quite handsome-- very hazy medium amber with orange highlights, crowned by the enormous bubbly head that leaves a little lace behind. Aroma is tinned Delmonte fruit salad, caramel, and low plastic phenols. Flavour is caramel, lightly grassy bitterness, and intrusive plastic phenols. Not helped by the carbo problem. Not impressed. Pours a hazy reddish ddish brown with a nice off white hat and good sticky lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, biscuit faint grassy hops. Taste is very malty forward with taste of caramel malts and some earthy and grassy hop flavors. It’s listed as an apa on rate beer but this seems rather like an English pale ale. Pours overall a really good beer just think it’s mislabeled & a I rated it as an English pale ale. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Hazy amber orange with lasting cream head, moderate lacing. Nose is fruity juice, apple and cranberry, tea bitterness lingering. Flavor stale, cardboard and oxidized, middle is lightest orange sugar, light peach and bitterness emerges in finish, saves profile. Thin and sticky. jmm635 (1017) - Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Poured light amber with a large white head. Aroma of light caramel malts and grapefruit hops. Bitter taste, dry finish. radagast83 (8533) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2013

Thanks, Gene. Gusher. Nose has some caramel and bread plus a slight funkiness. Flavor is super dry and mineral heavy. Not a fan. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 5, 2013
750mL thanks to Travlr. Pours a full haze, murky, glowing orange. Thick head formation and big lacing. Nose is celery, minerals, mint, homebrew oddities, benign infection. Taste is drained, aerated, minerally, bland, celery...seems to be infected. Similar to my first homebrew attempts. BeerandBlues2 (13870) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Bottle. Pours lightly hazy amber with a large, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is cookie and biscuit malt, pear and fruity esters with spicy and grapefruit hops. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness, supporting malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Huhzubendah (3763) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 5, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2013 The beer is orange with a quarter inch of off white head. The aroma offers light citrus, malt, a touch of fruit, alcohol, hops. The flavor brings malty oranges with a bitter finish. Hop character is overshadowed by malt. Medium bodied with appropriate carbonation. Needs more hop character.
