On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. As Brutopia Ble aux Cerises. It’s an unclear, golden colored beer topped by a dense, off-white head. Lots of cherry on the nose, with some butterscotch and oranges. I’ts very soft on the palate, medium to thin on the palate, with cherry dominating the flavor too. And the same butterscotch is showing up, guess it’s the cherries causing it. Some fruityness too, and a quite lasting finish. A decent beer, but there’s too much butterscotch-like aromas and flavors to be a beer I’d like to repeat. 150611

Draught @ Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015, Montréal, QC
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, sweet cherries, floral and caramel, Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long floral and cherry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

[Draught at Mondial 2014, Montreal] Pours a hazy copper-gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of cherries first and foremost along with some wheat. Flavour’s the same. It doesn’t taste of artificial cherries which is nice, it’s also kind of refreshing and easy to drink. Average bodied. Not really my thing but it’s well done for those who like this kind of thing.

En bouche, disons "what you smell is what you taste" ... tout est dans l’équilibre.

On draft at the brewpub. Golden color with a decent white head. Nice cherry aroma and flavor. Not too sweet or over powering. Refreshing.

Draught at the brewpub. Very weak marcipan aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour has a subtle marcipan note, peach pit bitterness.

(Rating #2877)
