, Helsinki. Golden colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mildly nectary with some slight bready notes. Flavour is nectary, some honeylike sweetness, mild floral and grassy notes to go along with it. A bit thin, but at the same time refreshing.
Golden body, white head. Aroma has caramel, toasted malt, tropical / exotic fruits. Some bitterness, but turns on the fruity side. Nice. TET (3208) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUN 13, 2013

Aroma is sweetish with caramel, some hops, citrus and hints of honey. Flavour has honey, some resiny notes. caramel, some pine needles and distant gluey notes. Some slight vegetable notes occur at the end of the glass. Nice and refreshing anyway.
Draught. Yellow, slightly hazy. In a nutshell: an ok, though terrible expensive, nz hoppy light pale ale. Citrus, gooseberries on nose, oranges, pale malts on palate. Dry and bitter, but not exceedingly. I’d like more softness in the body, but fine for a < 5%. Geez, this is really well hopped flavour-wise.. I haven’t had these sorts of burps since I swallowed a bunch of pellets.

Pours clear yellowish with a smooth white head. Aroma of exotic fruits, notes of grassy hops, malts and hints of lemon. Taste is grassy, hoppy, citrusy and light with hints of lemon, exotic fruits and grapefruit. Finish is carbonated, slightly bitter and stuffy with hints of fruits and lemon. Okay, a bit unbalanced pale ale.

Yay - First Pissed!
Way too lively to get a full measure, but as I’m ticking not boozing I’m not going to complain. Were I a weights and measures inspector, however... Very pleasant light fruity aromatic hop aroma, with sweet light bready grains too. Can’t fault that in a modern Pale Ale. Pale orange, enormoug persistent tight creamy head, constant effervescence. Fairly simple taste, as you woul extrapolate from the aroma. But it’s a little muted and light malt oriented, as are many aromatic hop focussed brews. Light palate, plenty of carbonation, too much for me, I can taste the carbonic acid. Nice finish, the lightness segues into a more bitter and dry sensation, some fatty seared pigskin in places - nice! Definitely enjoyed the beer. It’s easily at least 13 overall, but at this price it’s absurd. Finland is a country which grows both good grain and even hops, a 4.7% beer should never be this expensive. Don’t give me the alcohol tax line - this is the same price as the Papa Laine which has got more of everything, including tax. Rant over, it is a good beer. Once the fizz subsides it’s super quaffable.
