Nearly at perfection - the third version is aimed at the Dutch or German edge of the Belgian brews - it has the sweet plasticky malts and very thick body with a real bite of bitter hops. Long bitter finish, absolutely delicious. - -

Rich slightly hazy amber, healthy head. Rather thin on the aroma front - if you stretch you can find some sweet fruitiness. Crisp sharp carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet, but richly hoppy. Served a bit cold. Didn’t think this was an ESB, thought it was more like a Belgian Ale. Very tasty, really enjoyed this.

On tap at the pub. Pour is dark transparent golden amber with a thinner tight bubbled yellowish head. The nose is a bit nutty up front, lightly roasted and a touch salty. Burnt Grains flow in with sweeter caramel. Taste has the same nut up front, more cereal like grain mid palate with some sticky floral hops and faint bitterness. Carb is assertive on a medium body and smooth feel. RexTalionis (3825) - FINLAND - JUN 28, 2011
On tap at Bruuveri, Helsinki. Poured amber in colour with thin off-white head. Floral and slightly fruity aroma. Quite mild with some grassy bitterness in flavour, perhaps also some berries beeing present. Pleasant fruity aftertaste. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 26, 2010

Clear amber colour with creamy medium-size off-white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, reminds a bit of Belgian Ale. Sweet, not very ESB-like flavour. Quite harsh hoppiness. Longlasting bitter aftertaste. Archibaldo de la Cruz (1120) - FINLAND - JUL 2, 2009

’09. Deep amber color, off-white head. Hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavor with caramel and malts. Medium body, medium-high carbonation. Not bad.
Clear amber with a large beige head. The aroma had malt, caramel and hints of hops. Flavour had toasted malt, caramel and floral hops. Finished bitter. Not bad for a bitter.
