Hazy yellow color, small steady creamy off-white head, lace. Strong overriped banana, caramel, hints of lime and grains in the nose. Medium-bodied. Front is juicy citrusy, lime peels, banana. Can’t trace much smoke, only tiny hints in the aftertaste. Rock is quite stylish and pleasant German type wheatbock.
Draught at Bruuveri. Hazy yellow color. The aromas of phenols and banana. Strong pepper and clove flavor with some banana and smoke. Very light smokiness, could have more. Begins sweetish and finishes with lingering bitterness. Full body with hop tannins in the mouhtfeel. If they could get rid of that hard tannic and bitter mouthfeel, this could be a great beer. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 29, 2010
) Opaque yellow, small head. Nicely fresh aroma of citrusy freshness, no smoke detected. Very fruity, clean flavor with sweet smoked ham, and rounded aroma hops, as well as a faint touch of glue. Medium body with soft CO2. Quite successful and fresh, maybe slightly gluey, but a pleasant summer brew nevertheless. I wouldn’t be surprised, if this was the next bottled product from Bruuveri.
