On tap at Brewery Õlleklubi in Tallinn, Estonia where it was listed as "Design Pilsner" on the English menu and "Hansa Zeldzaam Desing Pilsner" on the Estonian menu. Brewery Õlleklubi tries to look like a brewery, but its house beers are mostly rebranded Latvian beers.
Clear, sparkling, bright amber with an off-white head and very good lacing.
Aroma of pilsener malt, floral hops, caramel and bread.
Taste of caramel, pilsener malt, floral hops, black pepper and toffee.
Medium body and medium carbonation with a clean and nearly crisp mouthfeel.
A sweet, but otherwise respectable pilsener.

Golden yellow clear beer with practically no head at all. Rotating the glass makes some white head which disappears instantly. Aroma has lots of yeast, diacetyl, berries and glue. Weird. Rotating the glass brings out some grassy hops and malts like a pilsner should, but it goes away in a second. Flavor is really mild but little yeasty and malty sweet. Short finish with practically no hops at all. Mouthfeel is floury and thin with high carbonation. While drinking this I was told that it’s a local microbrew so I thought it was just a bad batch. Heard later that it was actually contract brewed from a bigger company but I don’t understand how they can produce this kind of stuff. Brainiac (218) - Riga, LATVIA - JUL 3, 2013
on tap. Very yeasty aroma with green tea strings. Little sweet in taste, little malt. ectuohy27 (1158) - ESTONIA - JUN 15, 2013
A very, very, very good PL. Aroma made me not expect much, but the palate is quite surprisingly rich--yeasty, of course, but with some neat almost chocolate malt notes, plenty toasty as well. Fantastic for the style, another nice outing from Bruveris larsga (7509) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 5, 2013
Biggish offwhite head. Clear deep yellow body with strong
carbonation. Strawy earthy wet wood and resin aroma with nutty
notes. Dry-sweet oily nutty earthy taste with resiny notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish resiny nutty
herbal aftertaste with earthy papery notes. Interesting and
unusual, and highly drinkable. Definitely has that Lithuanian
style to it. (0.5l bottle, from Stockmann, Riga.)

Rather dark for a Pilsener, clearly more american style than traditionally German Pils. The taste has plenty of hops and some sweetness that makes it easy to confuse this with a Vienna or Märzen. Nice one! Finn (7513) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2013
Flaske 0,5l. Påspandert og delt med flere under rateseanse på Tårnrommet 10 Jan 13. Lys gylden. Høyt luftig skum som varer en stund. Aroma av gress med innslag av frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er tung fruktig. Litt mandler. I søtligste laget. Rune (12600) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 11, 2013
500ml bottle by the courtesy of Stefan and Elisabeth. Near-white head mostly diminishing over a clear, dark golden body. Sweet malts and sweaty fruits to the nose. Dry apricot taste added by buttery malts. Mid-dry aftertaste. Strange kind of taste, in fact, but drinkable (shared at a rating session, Tromsø 10.01.2013). Tap. Clear golden color. Tiny head, stays. Milky, malty, fresh aroma. Fresh, grassy, malty notes in flavor. Nothing special.suurjuust (3504) - ESTONIA - NOV 24, 2012

Draught. Clear golden color. Small head, stays. Sweet, honey, raisins, some fruityness and breadiness in aroma. Hay, grass, hops in flavor. Mellow sweetness. I quite like it.
Hazy yellow, small white head with filmy retention. Nose is sweetish malt with dusty walnuts, caramel and boiled vegetables. Taste is pretty close to the nose, with more pronounced dusty walnut notes and some more boiled vegetables in the finish. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Weird balance, not for everyone.
