Hey. Very tasty. Don’t worry, I bought another one to "age". And by age, I mean until I run out of beer the next time. Anyway, off to the rating... has a bit of a sour smell, looks great... a bit cloudy (or is that condensation?). Tastes great. Not really sour. Lots of the bret funk. No discernable alcohol notes. A really great beer. I imagine those who age it to it’s potential will reap big rewards. I just don’t have that kind of patience. Sorry. I do, however, think this was a great beer. And I’ll pay the price again to get some more from my super secret beer store that has lots of it.
Golden orange pour with tart aroma of apple and lemon with spice and some grass. Tart apple, pear, and subtle lemon flavor with spice. Decent beer. Alcohol is well hidden. weihenweizen (4127) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - OCT 12, 2017
Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a cup. Hazy orange with little head. Aroma is funky, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is funky and slightly dry finish. Bacchus66 (940) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 26, 2017
750ml bottle @ home. Bottle appears to be in decent shape - pours lightly hazed gold with a finger of white head. Funky nose (guess it would be after being bottled up so long) with light fruity notes. Tart plum and apple flavors, funky yeast, hints of spice. Nothing extra alcohol detected. Plenty of carbonation, looong funky finish. Really enjoyed this. andrewje41 (4257) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - NOV 22, 2016
750 mL bottle poured, shared by Tcon. Thanks! 4 years of age. A golden orange pour with a quick fading head. A mixture of different ripe fruit aroma, with a strong brett impression. Apple and brett headlined flavor, a ton of funk that lingers forever, and a covered up spice. An interesting beer. Strange. I like it. AirForceHops (7811) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 30, 2016
750 ml bottle purchased at Julio’s way back when it was released in 2012. (Meant to pop this sooner) Got lost in the shuffle. Still plenty of carbonation, with a spirited pop of the cork. Crystal clear orange in color. Aroma is pale malt and very light "musty basement"... Weak fruit. Not much else.

The Brett is here for sure, mild fruit, weak grain, weak hay. Body is on the thin side. Lightly effervescent. In terms of how old this is, nothing is wrong with it. Nothing oxidized or off. But considering the two Brewers, I really was expecting much more after holding it all these years. Just ok.
Pours dark orange with thin white head. Smell is sour cherry, funk and vinegar. Taste is funky but smooth, prune, cherry, pear and hay notes. Medium body, medium carb. thepatrickman (1502) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - OCT 20, 2016
Bottle at the Earth Eagle bottle share. This has a hint of Brett, but nowhere near enough for a beer that’s straight-up named "Brux" ! It tastes mainly like a straightforward Belgian golden ale, with some sweetness and fruity yeast esters, but with a light Brett component that adds some green apple flavor, a tiny bit of funk, and not much else. I love both of these breweries, but this is pretty underwhelming. tcon25 (941) - Duvall, Washington, USA - SEP 30, 2016
Bottle pour split, purchased at apex in Portland. Thin golden pour, soft brett aroma with a tone of oak brett flavor decent amount of carb still for 4 years old. Not much other flavors present. luttonm (6760) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2016
Bottle in Seattle. Thanks Tcon. Thin white foam, hazed dark orange body. Candy sweet Brett aroma, darker fruity brown sugar. Apple brett dubbel like. Odd. Quite fizzy body. Not great. Claves77 (260) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 10, 2016
Funky taste. Flat, not a great smell, nor taste, is not sour enough. Clear color is good.
