Taster at the brewery, summer 2013 from notes. I thought I’d rated this already... my favorite of the set it poured a slightly opaque amber brown with an off-white head. A sweet malty caramel aroma with a whiff of chocolate. The flavor is really nicely balance: a bit of caramel sweetness, then a crisp bitterness with a touch of chocolate in the aftertaste. Good stuff. Unde (1162) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 26, 2014
Brown and reddish looks with incredible head, which lasts for a long time. Leaves nice lacing too. Aroma has some sour berries, sweet malty notes and caramel. Taste is sweet at first but then hops kick in with grassy flavors. Ending with grassy and nutty flavors. Medium body with medium carbonation. A bit one-dimensional but still drinkable. Tap @ brewpub 20/03/14. Pours a fairly dark reddish brown with a small, beige head. Aroma is quite malty, grainy. Some grass. Taste is fairly caramel, quite a bit of grassy hoppiness. Dry finish. Some yeastiness. Feels a little off. Not very carbonated, fairly light. A bit underwhelming and not what you’d expect. MikeKeller (956) - Kemi, FINLAND - FEB 5, 2014

Ruby red beer with a small off-white head. Some caramel malts in the faint aroma. Some caramel malts, toffee and raisins in the flavour. Quite high carbonation. Well balanced and fresh.

Dark red-ruby color, good creamy off-white head. Lots of caramel, a bit "dusty". Medium-bodied. Lots of caramel in the flavor, some leafy hoppyness, citrus. A bit too much sweetness, perhaps from crystal malts. but OK solid brew otherwise.
Drank as a draught at the source. Slightly sweet and somewhat bitter taste with a long aftertaste. Nice reddish colour. thellgren (1147) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 24, 2013
0.2 l draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki. Brown colour, there is hops and something like nuts. I ate lamb when I drank this. It was quite nice substitute for red wine. Otherwise I’m not so sure. Brandman (2963) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2013
Semihazy amber body, small head. Served way too cold in my opinion. Hard to get aromas. Some grainy caramelly malt, bit fruitiness. Flavour has grainy malt and some bitterness. not my favourite style. gyllenbock (9990) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2013

Slightly hazy copper with a white head. A lot of nuts both in the aroma and taste. Also toffee, some dried fruit and with roasted notes. A relaxed one.
Draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki
Pours dark amber red with a small head. Aroma of caramely malts, grassy hops and mild hints of toffee. Taste is sweetish, caramely and malty with hints of grassy hops and toffee. Finish is dry, bitter and crisp malty with caramely notes. Quite balanced and tasty English style amber ale.
