Kauge (2133) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 28, 2017
Bottle as a gift. BB 09.2017. Pours mahogany with thick beige head. Deep malty aroma, notes of figs, dates, yeast, toffee, perhaps even a bit chocolaty, faint hints of some grass or herbs. Lovely. Flavour almost likewise, tastes more earthy and berry bitter than sweet. Soft and smooth mouthfeel, carbonation minimal. Started out nice but flattens later on, overall pretty nice still.
