Botella. Deep dark brown close to black colour, small beige like head. Aroma of roasty malt, chocolate and dark fruity like, lightly sour. Ok mouthfeel. Roasted malt, dark fruit, some chocolate in the flavour with a sour touch.

Bottle 500ml.

[ As Bryggerigaarden Imperial Stout ].
Clear dark black color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, dark roasted, some tart notes. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, cheesy, alcohol, licorice, the cheese whey, burnt sugar, roasted, tart notes. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20140212]

Bottle 500 ml, thanks to bursprak! Into a snifter, ABV 11% Pours a totally black beer with one finger of dark brown head. Average retention, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate malts, something acidic like balsamico vinegar as well. Taste follows the aroma with roasted malts, a hint of chocolate and a lot of sourness that just doesn’t fit. The only possitive is the alcohol is not notable at all and in no case tastes like an 11% beer. At least the sourness seems to lose its edge after the beer has warmed up a bit but it’s still there. Medium thick body, carbonation on good levels. A numbing feeling on the palate. Overall, this one had potential but the unexpected sourness ruins the whole experience.

Bottle. Black with a lasting brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, heavy caramel and unfortunately notes of berries as well. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. Unclean. 261113

Niller (1706) - Hammel, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2013
Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard. Pours very black with a dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malts. Horrible taste of something indescribable. Long creamy sour finish. Definitely not my favorite stout.

sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2013
Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Flavour is roasted malt, heavy malt acidic, light coffee and chocolate.

saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, rich coffee, caramel, hops and alcohol.

StoutHead (963) - DENMARK - APR 10, 2013
Bottle. Pours ink black with a medium sized mocca head. Aroma of roasted malts and licorice. Taste like aroma plus coffee and a double dose of dishcloth used for wiping metalshavings and lemonpeels off the floor. Medium body. It has a long strange bittersour aftertase which is not enjoyable at all. Brewers; remember to avoid brewing your beer in the same tank as your wash your socks in.
