Very light haze on this gold beer, no head. Palate is light but also slightly viscous. Very light and fine carbonation. Light and very sweet malts. Light candyish floral fruits. Good floral orange, a touch of spice then some honeyed orange. Smooth semi dry finish. Drinks pretty easy for it's huge abv. I like the concept of a beer competing with a dessert wine and this beer makes a good fist of it. However the best dessert wines have an intensity of flavour that is lacking here. Be nice to this sub-style developed further though.
Niller (1718) - Hammel, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2017

Bottle. As edition 2. Dark amber with lots of deposits and floating yeast. no head. Aroma vineous, not much beer.Taste sweet and vineous. We drank this one along with a blueberry cake and that combination went out very well. A fine dessertbeer. Would think it was a quad if it hadn´t been stated otherwise.

Bottle. Pours a murky light brown color with a small head. Sweet aroma of malt, caramel, sugar, fruits - especially peach. Taste is like the aroma - very sweet with lots of sherry/port notes. Soft texture and almost no carbonation.
Very boozy. Certainly an acquired taste - but not a hit with me. anders37 (27047) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 24, 2014

Bottle @ Foodfestival 13. Meget sød, lidt alkoholsmag. Ikke så meget øl over den.
