Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, peach, some mild grass and also quite fruity hops. Flavour is almost exactly the same. Wellbalanced strong ale. Some light spicyness is lurking in the background too.
From tap. Pours clear and golden brown to deep orange with a lacing off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma. Smooth hoppy base flavour with a light bitterness. Sweet caramel malt base and mixed with a light set of spices. Light bitter and fruity hoppy finish. Lasting malt flavour into the far finish. MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2008
2007 bottle, 7.5%. Grassy hop aroma. Hazy grey/brown colour. Very small head. The flavour is mildly smoked. OK maltiness, not sweet, but good. I cannot taste the spices as such, perhaps they just add to the malty notes. The mouthfeel is a little thin. Gets more smoked after a while, quite nicely so. Well-balanced. 50 cl bottle. Muddy dark brown colour with a nice white head. Oxidation in the aroma along with spices, orange, smoke and raisins. Flavour of smoke, munich, spices and orange peel. A very nice Christmasbeer, with the good danish christmas spices, its pretty cool with the smoke in it. The alcoholc a well hidden. Cheers bierkoning (13272) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - SEP 17, 2008
Poured from a can, presumably straight from a barrel @ EBF 2008. Hint of cherry in the aroma, just a touch of spicyness. Oak, red berries and various nondescript spices (cardemom?) in the flavor. The comnplexity is there, but this beer is too spicy for my liking.

Very full aromatic jule Bryg. It is a typical danish jule Bryg with taste of cherry, nuts and raisins. overall I would call it a brown ale. Nice Beer.
