Bottle 500ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grass and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A dense, almost creamy, off-white head of two-finger size sits on top of an almost clear, golden body. The aroma is lightly hopped, with grass, a touch of resin and some malty notes. Rather similar flavor, pleasantly balanced, but too close to a top notch English bitter to be interesting as an APA. Well, if this was the best choice on my local grocery store, I wouldn’t shy away from it. Full body, a bit high on carbonation. Mostly bitter finish, with a hint of metal. Decent and drinkable. 120720

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 7, 2012
Draught at Ølfestival 2012, Copenhagen. Bright golden color. Strongly honeyish aroma. Honeyish and grainy flavor, initially sweet with drying bitter finish. Weird wine bottle cork like off flavor.

BeerSkull (1373) - SWEDEN - JUL 6, 2012
(Bottle). Slightly sweet and metallic smell of malt and grassy and floral hops. Slightly thin taste of malt and grassy hops. Bitterness in the aftertaste is nice, but otherwise the beer is rather bland!

Christian (13605) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2012
Odense Catching Up on Stuff Left in the Cellar Event July 2012. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt, a bit of diacetyl, and a faint hint of grassy hops. Sweetish malty flavour with little hop flavour but an aggressive bitterness

Stefano (2005) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 4, 2012

mikkellund42 (849) - DENMARK - JUN 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with small white head. Aroma is sweet malt, bread, dough and yoghurt with hints of citrus. Taste is medium to heavy bitter and light sweet and sour. Body is oily with good carbonation. Finish is long and bitter with notes of cream and toffee.

Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 29, 2012
500 ml bottle, from NETTO. Organic malts. ABV is 5%. Deep golden to amber colour, large white head. OK aroma of grassy and herbal hops, hints of fruits too The flavour has decent hops throughout, some malty sweetness, notes of fruits and resin, while the finish is bitter and quite sharp, dry and dusty. The number of APAs in Scandinavia is steadily increasing, and this one might not be the very best, but it is certainly worth sampling.
