Copenhagen 12/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Some kind of animal - looks like a cross between a bear and a Mountain Lion - with a big Beer-gun. Kind of "First Blood feeling" over this. Pours hazy orange with big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is pretty intense. Very fresh and fruity. Gooseberry, citrus and unripe apples. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor has medium sugary sweetness followed by dominant sourness and bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Different take on the wheat beer concept. But in a refreshing way which suits my taste buds.

Here is an atypical wheat beer. Hops dominate the flavor completely. Hops with good citrus and floral notes on top. I have the attitude that everything must be tried and tried, but it’s good ethics if the consumer can find information on the label about why the product may not be perceived completely type. Here we have a mouthwatering and lovely wheat beer which has only hint of yeast’s original banana notes while you instead get a nice hoppy, full-bodied aftertaste on a body of fresh white bread. I think it is lovely innovative.

50cl flaske. Gylden farve, lidt uklar. Hvid top som holder en kort tid. Aroma af gær. Smag, let sur med moderat bitterhed. Frisk i munden.

Bottle. Hazy deep golden color with a thin head. Sour aroma of coriander grain and (wild) yeast. Sweet malty tate with some sourness. Medium thin body.

500 ml bottle. Hazy golden body with a decent white head. Nice aroma with a combination of wheat and citric hops with spices. Flavor is light and very refreshing, mild wheat impression with citric fruit spices and light but balanced bitterness. Medium to light body and OK aftertaste. Nothing really outstanding, but a nice combo beer with high quaff ability. .

Bottle from Føtex, Amager - Pours a fuzzy yellow/golden colour, with a medium white head. Fresh fruity and floral tones, with some faint citrus, wheaty, grass, slight herbs, nice sweetness/bitter balance. Really enjoyed this, decent drop it must be said.
