Sold as "Hopback amber ale". While it sounds like it is straight from Troegs brewery, it achieves nowhere near the same excellence. Amber with little head. Flavor/Aroma is light and on the watery side. Slight nip of lemony hops, but on the light side, with very little/light caramel to balance. I was hoping for more. Sampled at brewery. Poured amber in color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and nice. Tastes has hints of veggies, but other than that it has a nice balance of hops and nice finish. Pretty impressed with this one. Nejhleader (1574) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2008
reminded my alot of troegs amber ale. Has a nice sweet hop aroma, nice light blend of hops make it a refreshing drink. has a bit of a dry after effect, good amber ale.
