For a Porter, too weak. For a chocolate Porter, little chocolate taste. For a beer, not very good. PapaSkeetSkeet (1010) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - JAN 3, 2011
Black/Brown. Deep amber when held up to the light. Little to no head, little carbonation. Aroma is slight roast and coffee. Flavor is very watery for a porter with a bit of sweet coffee in there and hints of chocolate and slighter hints of nut. Light hop bitterness to balance. Needs more balls.

Growler from brewery. Poured a nice dark brown with a generous soapy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and little sweetness. Taste is really a great creamy chocolate with some very light hop bittering in the finish. Mouth is great, very creamy and smooth. Overall, a great porter.
