Red appearance and smooth after taste. This is easy and light. Nice brew. Found it to be very enjoyable. DiarmaidBHK (5919) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Pours ruby red from tap without much head. This one feels flat to me. The liquid just lays on the tongue without much life-force. Can’t say I’m getting much aroma or flavor out of this one. Finish is pure water. Still it’s a hell of a lot better than Coors Light. djaquay (138) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2011
Beautiful dark reddish brown pour under not much of a head (from a growler), nice roast & caramel sweet aroma, a pleasant surprise! TheCaptain (613) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2008
Draught at Bubes, deep red hue with nice foam head. Some cherry aroma. Kind of tart on the pallet with cherry undertones. A little chemical taste and some bitterness. Might have to give this another try but a bit sour for my pallet. afireinside96 (923) - Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2008
draught. tapped a deep garnet with a thin white head. not really much to smell. taste is mostly sweetened malts, some brown sugar. finishes much like an English bitter, lightly sweet with a fair amount of hop bitterness. not really true to the style but quite drinkable none the less.

(USA) Had a Ruby Red color with a Sm-White Head. I thought this brew had Dry Berry taste. Not much else to say, But drinkable. Ungstrup (38423) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2007
Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast, berries, caramel, and a bit of barn yard, leading to a dry bitter end. DocLock (11048) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2006
Pours coppery amber with tinges of ruby. The aroma is caramel malt and some vinous fruit, and slight berry notes. Taste is caramel malty, with a mix of berry and vinous fruit. Medium palate, with a solid complexity. Well crafted. axilla (962) - New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2006
Poured a medium amber/brown color with a foamy off-white head. Bitter hop aroma. Flavors were bitter grapefruit and mild carmel. Pretty average red. iratherbe (255) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - OCT 31, 2005
Stopped in for lunch, tour & a brew. On tap. Head is thin, dissapates quickly. Color is an amber red orange hue. A grainy, woodsy taste, medium body and a crisp, clean finish. A bit different for a red ale & pretty refreshing.
