Draft. Crystal clear amber body with small off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/lemon, some grapefruit. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, some grapefruit, light bread. Light-medium body, low carbonation. DiarmaidBHK (5113) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Pours golden from tap, I think, it’s really dark in the bar despite it being daytime. I’m not getting a lot of aroma off of this one. The taste is of slight bitterness without a ton of hop flavor. Finish is also slighty hoppy. djaquay (138) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 25, 2011
Clear, dark bronze pour under a thin white head and a little lace, nice flavor, not quite as strong as I’d expect a pale ale to be, but a good flavor just the same. Lubiere (13992) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2011
A hazed amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, light floral hops with light off notes. In mouth, a good malt base with pinhey floral hops, sustained, a bit lighter than expected but quaffable. On tap at brewpub, April 8th, 2011. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2010
On tap, at brewery. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a small tight bubbled off-white head, light tight carbonation. Damn crystal malt assault again on the nose. Beyond that there’s some very light English hops. The flavor is very very lightly bitter over a toasty and crystal malt base, on the drier side though. Finishes with some husky and grainy notes and almost zero hops. Medium bodied, though watery in texture, with soft fizzy carbonation. Overall, not an especially good effort.
