, as Cubanero Fuerte. Sweetish, lightly hopped, pretty full for a warm country lager.
Bottle at Unofficial Dutch RB Meeting. Not much aroma, not much flavor, but nothing that bad in there. Very boring though.

(bottle, 35cl, as Cubanero Fuerte) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Discreet aroma of corn and strawy malt with a tinge of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Corny malty taste with shy grassy hops; mildly sweet and slightly hop bitter finish. Not as bad as expected. 25.IX.10 Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2010

Sweet clean plasticky aroma, a bit floral. Gold, tiny head. Simple
sweet fruity retronasals, body similar in taste - a touch hoppy,
flowery and sweet. Crisp, but a bit watery. Some hops in the finish.
Clean, but a bit dull.
A - Clear gold color, a touch less clear than many other beers of the style. Decent sized white, foamy, bubbly head that disappears pretty fast leaving no lace. Pretty typical appearance for the style.
S - A bit thin with sweet malt and a bit of a corn/grain/husk aroma as well. A slight hint of bready malt as well. Nothing all that special about the aroma.
T - Light on taste especially at the beginning of the sip. Some light malt and corn taste provides the base. Mid sip this gets a bit stronger with a bit of breadiness. Also some floral hops come out. Toward the finish the hops are a bit stronger and there is a slight tang to the grain taste. Overall it is fairly sweet, but there is a slight bitterness and tang to it.
M - Light body with a healthy amount of carbonation. A little spritzy and refreshing but a little drying on the finish.
D - Decently drinkable beer. Not too different from others in the style. It has a sweetness and a grainy, malty taste. Not really interesting, but it goes down fairly easy.
Notes: Nothing all that special about this beer. Sweet malt and adjunct make up most of the taste. An ok amount of hops for the style, but they are overshadowed.
