2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
As Cubanero Fuerte, 350ml. - Bref: sweet canned corn juice meets diluted rum, vanilla barrel and all in this Cuban macro lager. - Copperish, heavy pour. Grainy sulphurs, sweetish corn and lemonade in aroma. Quite slick and mouthfilling for a pale lager - brown sugar doing the job of Vienna malts. Gets Aldi-rum sweet very fast, less than quenching, a few notches below a headstrong mix, but drinkable.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bought as "’Cubanero".
Just had to rate it because it’s cuban. It’s just a pale easy to drink lager like corona. Didn’t taste very much.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Aus der Flasche (vom Händler bezogen) getrunken. Hellgelb im Glas mit aufschäumender Krone. Perlt nicht nach. Riecht nach nassem Heu. Was "fuerte" sein soll, würde sich wohl erst nach längerem Trinken erschließen, was an aber besser bleiben lassen sollte.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
As Cubanero Fuerte. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma is malty and slightly toasty with hints of floral and peppery hops. Thinner than suggested by the aroma and really a bit light on for well over 5%. Toasty turns out to be more bland and sugary. Modest bitter finish is very slightly spicy. Not much else to it, although it’s pretty clean. A bit of a let down after the decent aroma.

Labelled as Cubanero Fuerte purchased at Meny Denmark.
Nah, this is just another high volume produced lager that suits only one purpose, to quench thirst. Watery and bland.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle in various places in Cuba. Light amber carbonated beer with a rapidly disappearing head. Naff straw aroma. Its actually acceptable for a pale pils, I was expecting worse!

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
350ml bottle as Cubanero Fuerte. Golden colour with thin dissipating head. Weak aroma of pale malts, light sweetness. Taste is weak, malty, light citrus, light bitterness. Typical lager. It’ll do for the country rate though.
