Pours yellow with a white head. Smells like caramel malt and lemons. Tastes like someone took bud light and added lemon extract to it. If this were at least a bit dry, it’d be palatable, but the lysol like lemon pine aftertaste is pretty nasty. Total drain pour alcopop. DragonStout (1418) - Groveport, Ohio, USA - JUL 13, 2007
Whoa what is this! This tastes like a Mike’s Lemonade expierement gone wrong, if thats possible.Pours cloudy and has a sweet, overly sweet aroma of lemons.Taste is overly lemon.Finish is sweet and sticky. YourDarkLord (1800) - Urbana, Illinois, USA - JUL 12, 2007
Cloudy amber with a puny white head. Overpowering lemon aroma that carries over into the taste. Sweet and syrupy. One note beer and that note is off-key. Suttree (6505) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 8, 2007
Wow, this was weird one. Aroma is very lemony, or perhaps lime, but more like lime concentrate that comes out of that little lime-shaped squeeze bottle. The Bride suggested furnature cleaner. Very sweet and artifical flavor, but also a few beer characteristics. Undoubtably a beer and not a malternative, but dang this was hard to finish. nick76 (4402) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 19, 2007
The aroma has lots of lemon and little else. The appearance is copper gold with a small fizzy head. The flavor is harsh and sweet with lots of lemon and sugar. The alcohol is there too but no beer. The palate is not really that thin which in this case would be welcomed. Not terrible but not something I would drink often.

This beer was very lively when opened. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing head. The aroma is of detergent combined with an artificial sweetness. The flavor is sweet with less notes of detergent than in the aroma, but still very present, combined with strong notes of lemon an notes of artificial apples, leading to a dry bitter end. madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2007
Bottled. Amber coloured. Uncleaer. Light brown head. Never have I experienced such a chemical and soapy aroma. Its like sticking your nose into some Ajax detergent, you know the one with lime scent. Flavour is equally odd. Loads and loads of soapy lemon trimmed with some almost cloying sweetness. This is a very nasty brew, and I don’t know whether I should thank Degarht for this, but naturally I do. Thanks for the trade, Joe. The trade was the best part of this beer. UPDATED: JUN 19, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Chemical, soapy citrus aroma - sort of like washing up liquid. Medium body, extremely sweet with soapy and perfumy lime accents. No bitterness. Thanks to madsberg for sharing. 050107 NYHarvey (2153) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 28, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2007 New in town. Has a nose tickling artificial citrus sweetness. Sprite/7-UP is not far off, but this is MUCH sweeter and more concentrated. More like a Nehi Lemon-Lime soda or the many South American citrus sodas popular at Latin Food Stores. I rather like the aroma, to be honest I find it fairly pleasing it just smells like soda and not beer. The body is a murky yellow and though an off white head forms, briefly, it doesn’t look very beery. Very sweet lemon-lime soda fore. This is practically a malternative. No beer here. But, again it doesn’t taste bad to me just soda-y. I’d actually love to marinade a pork loin in this. Would be great I imagine. Basically a tropical shandy is what this is and if you like lemon-lime soda you’ll tolerate this just fine. User37895 (3085) - - JUN 2, 2006
Ok, if I wanted a Sprite, this one woulda been a good choice. But when it tastes like only 10% of a basic lager was poured into 90% lemon-lime soda, I just can’t advocate this one. Super carbonated mouthfeel. Maybe an ok alternative to hard lemonade, iced tea, or wine coolers.
