Orange Blossom Ale. Inspired by the rich fragnance of blooming orange groves, this copper colored ale combines the flavor and aroma of real orange tree flowers with a well balanced, full flavored ale to produce a real treat for the senses. Munich and light Caramel malts produce a smooth, creamy malt complexity, and American hops give the beer a bright, refreshing bitterness and dry finish. The orange blossom aroma blends superbly with the other beer flavors, providing a unique dimension that is the perfect complement to tangy, herbal or spicy foods, soft cheeses or pastries.

Can: not great. Citrus works well with heffeweizen stick to it. Food Pairing: Fruit Salad.

16 oz pint can from my Winter 2010 Secret Santa. Pour is a slight haze orange golden with a big four inch egg white head. Head is lasting, eventually falls with decent lacing. Aroma is slight bitter honey, along with dull orange peel. As it warms, a bit of toasty malt comes out. Taste is the mildly bitter honey and orange, I like the taste more than the nose - not overly sweet, just mild and integrated with the toast malt. Palate is thin to medium bodied, dries out with nice mineral in the finish. Easy drinking, thanks Santa.

Canned at Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival 2010. Hazy amber color. Sweet orange lemonade and vanilla aroma. Orangey flavor with maltiness and metal. There is something tart or sour which reminds me of pickled vegetables.

[500ml can courtesy of cgarvieuk] Clear orange pour with a decent head. Extremely perfumey aroma, and also taste. Verges on the unpleasant with the chemical finish. Like chewing a toilet cleaning block. Soapy and not enjoyable at all [14112010]

Can – John’s Market – Portland, OR
Copper in color. Nice malt light hops aroma. Easy drinking beer. There is very little to do with the orange or the flower. Easy to drink jut not what they had advertised. The flower and fruit flavors where a miss.

One word - artificial. Everything about this seemed...off somehow. The orange flavor and aroma was closer to baby aspirin than anything in nature. The sweet notes seemed saccarin like. The whole thing was just a miss.

Can. Pours with a hazy orange body and a large, off-white head. Aromas of orange, metal, wheat, curacao, cotton candy, and marmalade. Flavors of lightly sour, citrus, wheat, raw grain, honey, tobacco, infection. Not great. Not enjoyable even. Lively bubbles. Dry. Not drinkable.

From jcwattsrugger @ 12th Richmond Gathering. Poured dark yellow, with a very sweet hard candy like smell. Taste is fairly acidic, with some sweet candi sugar coming through as well as some light citrus. Nothing too impressive.

omhper (25953) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2010
Canned at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy amber, airy head. Caramelly nose with some fruity floral notes. Mid dry with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Caramel is more evident than the citrus and floral notes Balamced bitterness.
