Bright but dark red color and clear in the appearance. Rich and sweet raspberry nose, but still like a fruit juice or kool-aid than a well formed pure fruit scent. Too sweet and artificial tasting, simple overall, with a twangy spoiled vegetable note in the aftertaste. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 26, 2008
[1070-20080201] 650mL (c/o GregClow, w/ him, blankboy, jerc, mds; called "Berry Ale"). Berry sweet alcohol aroma. Clear, red amber body wih a long-lasting creamy white head. Flavour is sweet grainy leaf berries and an afterbreath of strawberry plant. Medium body is a little thin. Interesting berriness but something seems missing. solidfunk (8965) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Decently done for style - in the sense that it meets the average standards of a fruit beer. Tastes a bit sour like raspberry but who cares really. Pours reddish clear. Finishes a little sour. On tap at brewpub - thankfully my odyssey here is over. blankboy (7699) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 12, 2008
Bottle (22oz) shared with jerc, mabel, GregClow & mds -- courtesy of GregClow. Labelled ’Berry Ale’. Pours a clear ruby-orange with an average size diminishing off-white head. Nice tart berry aroma with some light malt, light hops and spices. Slightly watery flavour with sweet malt, mild berry tartness and a short finish. Alcohol’s totally hidden. Average to medium bodied. A pretty decent Fruit beer. jonas (7588) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2010
At Swans. Raspberry nose.
Red amber, low head.
Quite berrylike compared to others, light roast. med to light body, dry mouthfeel.
Drinkable actually he said surprised.

February 2010 - garthicus/blankboy/me minitasting. 650ml bottle shared by blankboy. Poured slightly hazy red-amber with an average white frothy head. Floral/grainy aroma surprisingly pungent, and while there was definite generic green treefruit in there, I was impressed by how grainy it was - these things are usually sugary fruit bombs (although it did have a hint of raspberry syrup, a la Italian soda). Similar taste, but not as sweet as I feared - very tart (think fruit w/ lemon juice) and pungent, less "beer-like" than the aroma. Average, slightly sticky mouthfeel, slightly astringent and sort of acidic, nicely carbonated, and quick-finishing. Really decent stuff, actually. reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 18, 2011
650ml bottle pours a deep amber color with about 2 fingers of white head that settles quite quickly leaving a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is dominated by raspberry. Taste is raspberry with some underlying malt sweetness and a trace of hops with a dry tart finish. A pretty nice fruit beer. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUL 4, 2011
Sweet fruity syrup berry nose on top of a stronger blonde beer base. Pours amberish with some red tints. Berry sweetness, strong blonde wheat beer base. Lingering sweet berry notes. Perhaps a little too much berry sweetness for my liking, but I do like fruit beers so..... BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 15, 2014
The Great BrewDad Victoria Pub Crawl - Great Fruit aroma and flavor. This was a very good fruit beer. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 13, 2007
Smooth berry ale with a pleasing dry finish. Balanced and not too sweet. Lovely ruby shine and a fruity aroma. Refreshing, and hits the spot if you are in the mood for this style.
