8/24/2007: Buckerfields Raspberry Ale has blueberry-like floral aroma and a berry flavor (blueberry flavor with a raspberry tartness). There is a light citrusy hoppiness and smooth maltiness underneath the berry flavor. The beer is medium-light to medium in body and has a mellow, mild palate. It really reminds me of an English Bitter with some berry flavoring added to it. I really though think that this is a pretty good fruit beer.
Draught sample at Swans Brewpub in Victoria, BC, Canada. Rating #14 for this beer...
Smooth berry ale with a pleasing dry finish. Balanced and not too sweet. Lovely ruby shine and a fruity aroma. Refreshing, and hits the spot if you are in the mood for this style. Tmoney99 (14486) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Draft sample. Poured a clear reddish color with an average off-white fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart berry and yeast aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium berry flavor with a medium berry finish of moderate duration. Interesting beer. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUL 16, 2016
Tap at Swans. Cool reddish pour with a small pink head. Nice berry aroma and taste. Clean, easy drinker. BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2005
Nice covering up of the alcohol although I still found this beer to be a little to sweet and sugary, needed some sourness for balance. Pretty good and refreshing.

Draught sample at Swans Hotel. Light raspberry fruity aroma. Mild tartness over sugary sweet malt; like raspberry Kool-Aid nose. Copper amber clear with no head. Medium bodie with medium carbonation. Nice and fruity with decent raspberry flavor to start. Light sweetness with mild fruity crisp finish and light fruity clean after. Not a bad fruit beer. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 4, 2008
2008-02-01. Bottle labeled Berry Ale. Dark amber body with a small off white head. Good amount of raspberry aroma is lightly tart with a perceived slightly artificial note to it. (6+) Sweet malt underlies a sweet tart raspberry flavour. Average palate. Alcohol is not noticeable. Pretty decent fruit beer but fairly plain overall. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 12, 2008
Bottle (22oz) shared with jerc, mabel, GregClow & mds -- courtesy of GregClow. Labelled ’Berry Ale’. Pours a clear ruby-orange with an average size diminishing off-white head. Nice tart berry aroma with some light malt, light hops and spices. Slightly watery flavour with sweet malt, mild berry tartness and a short finish. Alcohol’s totally hidden. Average to medium bodied. A pretty decent Fruit beer. reebtogi (6270) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 18, 2011
650ml bottle pours a deep amber color with about 2 fingers of white head that settles quite quickly leaving a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is dominated by raspberry. Taste is raspberry with some underlying malt sweetness and a trace of hops with a dry tart finish. A pretty nice fruit beer. BrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 15, 2014
The Great BrewDad Victoria Pub Crawl - Great Fruit aroma and flavor. This was a very good fruit beer.
