Minerally yeast nose.
Cloudy grey orange, low lace.
Peppery light necrotic yeast notes, citrus, fermented fruit. Medium body, dry mouthfeel, fennel finish. I really don’t get what drives the brewers over here to try to make a Saison into a strong winter warmer. sulawang (1161) - - MAY 29, 2014
Visual: Pours hazy golden orange-brown with a smallish creamy head, a thin layer of retention, lots of steady streams.
Nose: fruity apple and white grape juice. (lvl-4)-pungency.
Attack: super crisp, incoming sweetness
Mid-palate: immediate alcohol detection, light-medium sour, (lvl-8)-sweetness, (MAIN) prune, Sprite (lemon/lime soda), toffee malts,
Finish: raisin, mild bitter hopped tingly sweet finish.
Summary: This one is a little too aggressively sweet on my palate, but does have interesting flavours. Overall I enjoyed the textures and flavours but not the sugary/booze hit. fiulijn (20492) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 13, 2013

Cloudy amber color, small head. The aroma is sweet, there is some plastic, bread. Sweetish flavor, malt, with a strong bread character, light fruitiness, strong flavor of yeast too, and moderate spices; correct bitterness.
It seems well off target.
(Draught) Served in a pint glass. Pours a lasting frothy white head atop a sediment filled golden-amber. Nose of pepper, lemon. Very light bodied and easy to drink - zesty, highly-carbonated with a mild lactic finish. Strong sense of ginger through the palate. Very nice. LarryBeast (616) - - DEC 16, 2012
650ml bottle. Pours a very cloudy ruddy chestnut colour with foamy head. Incredible and potent aroma of plum, pepper, toffee, strong malt. Taste is a little more subtle with just a hint of sweetness. Full-bodied, flat and smooth. A well-executed, rare treat.
