on tap @ Buckeye Beer Engine, This stuff looks good, tastes good and is local, nice IPA, which has all the qualities of a good IPA without the sticky syrup mess that can be found in lesser IPAs this one is good stuff.

2-day-old growler, courtesy of miketd. Thanks a ton, Mike!! Pours a beautiful, clear honey-orange color, with a slight effervescence coming up from the bottom of the glass; perfect head formation: fluffy, structured whiteness, coating the interior of the glass and well-retained. The aroma shows an intense hoppiness without overpowering: resiny, dank character, with orange and passion fruit as the dominant notes; minimal malt presence, just dense, refreshing hops. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: generous, resiny and flavorful hop characteristics: Amarillo really seems to shine here, with orange and fruit filling the mouth; minimal malt presence, making for an intensely sessionable, satisfying IPA without resorting to thick maltiness to hide astringency; none of that, nor any chalky, mouthdrying qualities here; flavorful, brilliantly done stuff. Lengthy, citrus and orange finish, ending pleasantly.

Growler thanks to miketd - thanks!!! Golden color with a lighter white head. Aroma has a nice floral-citrus-pine essence that is unmistakably Amarillo. Flavor is a smooth, hoppy floral, piney mix with some citrus and lighter malt backing that makes it really good. Wow - I have to stop by the beer engine on one of my next trips through Ohio!

On tap at the buckeye brewing beer engine. Poured a nice yellow color with a consistent white head that stuck around for a while that was eventually followed up by some really nice lacing along the sides of the glass. Very fresh aromatic amarillo hop presence...lots of citrus and piney elements. Very nice flavor with lots of hops without being very overpowering. A nice dry ipa that was not overdone by an overload of unnecessary malt additions...the malt was there but was just enough to add some balance. Really good ipa that I was looking forward to trying for some time now...and it did not disappoint.

Sampled from a 2.5 day old growler: Pours a transparent bright orange bronze with a spotty-lacing white head. Nice fresh piny, resiny hoppy aroma has good, light caramely sweet balance. Starts fairly full in body with a good sweet backbone and assertive fresh sticky, resiny piny hops toward a crisp, bittersweet finish. A very nice IPA. Big thanks to GrbDg!

On tap at the Beer Engine: Pours a clear copper with a medium off white head. Aroma, some light citrus notes, herbal, and some pale malts. Flavor, starts with a nice bright citrus, picking up some pale malts, and some orange and grapefruit notes. There is a nice sweetness, with a floral and citrus bitterness to it on the finish. This is a very nice beer. Intensely drinkable, though this latest batch is listed at 6% ABV, not the 7% listed here.
