Tmoney99 (14492) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Tap sample at BBC. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced malt and hop aroma. Medium body with a dry smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer and very good for style.

Keg at the brewpub. Hazy golden, large creamy offwhite head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, grassy, Noble hops. Taste is doughy malt, floral and grassy hops. Medium bodied. Tasty but could be crisper.

3.3
Dogbrick (13018) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 15, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear pale yellow color with a thin and fizzy white head that dissipates steadily. Thick craggy rings of lacing on the glass. Mild hops and zesty fruit in the nose. Light and clean body with flavors of lightly spiced hops, fruit and pale malt. The finish is mildly spiced with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at Buckeye on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear yellow, thin white head. Light sweetness. Grainy and thin. More sweet flavors. Finishes up with some crisp grainy bitterness.

BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 17, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Clear pale yellow pour with a minimal head. I wouldn’t call it bland, but it’s far from full flavored. Decent for the style.

3.4
JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2010
Tap at Beer Engine. Pale straw-coloured pour. The nose is a bit soft and sweet. Fresh pils malt. Grassy and herbal with a bit of straw. A bit of clean sweetness. Dusty and a little bit herbal as well. Soft and clean. It’s not really kolsh... more of a helles - but either way, it’s pretty solid.

3.4
JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2014
Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine on 5/4/14. Clear yellow pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, lager yeast and some crisp hop. Sweet malt and crisp noble hop flavor with lager yeast accents before a creamy finish.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a large creamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweetish and yeasty with a bit of dough and phenol. The flavor was crisp and dryish with yeast and a hint of citrus. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUN 14, 2014
Yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is light malt and paper. Semi sweet malt start with a dry finish. A light papery finish from malt (wheat) I think not oxidation. Light bodied with aggressive carbonation. pretty nice kolsch

2.6
DiarmaidBHK (4907) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 3, 2011
Pours Coors light yellow from tap with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. Clean and crisp taste but not much else.
