BuckeyeBoy (7975) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 7, 2008
Bottle Pours out a nice black topped with a tan head. Aroma of sweet roast and some light coffee. Tast of rich malts, bitter chocolate and some coffee. Not to bad.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye, labeled "Buckeye Mammoth Stout-Foreign Stout". Pours with a tan head and a black body. Aroma of cinnamon, chocolate, coffee, bread and raisins. Taste is coffee, light lactic, and bread. Light carbonation.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7901) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 12, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2016 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark tan head that lingered and left minimal lacing. The aroma was dryish with coffee, wood and smoke. The flavor was semi dry with wood, brewed coffee, a bit of roasty malts, cream and a hint of smoke. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Fairly well made but not my style.

Ernest (7723) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 17, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 14, 2009 Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is black (non-opaque, flashlight tested). Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, chocolate, burnt coffee), lightly hoppy (grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately to heavily bitter, husky. Medium to full body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Rather roughly bitter, not much fun to drink. Ok aroma, nice appearance and mouthfeel. Forgettable.

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 15, 2003
Pours a thick black with a small ring of light brown foam. Mellow roasted and smokey aroma. Dry, crisp, almost smokey flavor with carbonation dissolved deep in the thick body. Pretty good dry stout with lots of character.

5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 30, 2005
Bottle: Nearly black, very minor brown tint on the edges, moderate dark beige frothy head, very nice lacing.   Heavy roasted malt nose, burnt actually, with a slight coffee tinge.   Semi-sweet on the tongue, quite roasty, moderate hop & malt mixture that is very well balanced.   Nothing dominates, which is nice.   Quite smooth, body is fairly big, moderate to full mouthfeel.   Clean roasted malt finish.   Seems fairly standard, but it is rather solid.   Thanks Dan!

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 21, 2006
22 oz bottle, via OhioDad. Black and white label, proclaiming that it is an "Export Stout". Completely opaque black pour, quite like motor oil, with a one inch chocolate brown head composed of fine bubbles. Sweet lactose and roast aroma, with some coffee and chocolate pudding, a bit on the lighter side overall. Rather sweet taste with roasted and chocolate malts, candied fruits, and a little black cherry on the finish. Full bodied with a thick and chewy mouthfeel. Nice fine bubbled moderate carbonation. A very solid Stout, not lacking in any aspect. Not sure why this is a Dry Stout, more of a Sweet Stout by my tastes. Very much worth seeking out all the same.

egajdzis (6626) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 30, 2006
Poured an opaque black color with a small, tan head that left clingy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, tons of smoke (reminded me of Alaskan Smoked), nuts, and chocolate. Taste of more smoke, with chocolate, vanilla beans, roasted malt, with no alcohol at all.

Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2009
This poured almost black with a big lgiht tan head. Aroma was pretty sweet and chocolatey for a stout. Flavor was silky and smooth chocolate, but a bit too sweet for me, not much roastyness to it at all.

blutt59 (6565) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 14, 2009
bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, black color with good standing tan foam, aroma of spicy burnt coffee, flavor of burnt coffee, nutmeg, a little fruit
