Pours brownish yellow from tap with a thin white head. Faint sweetness on the nose. The taste is something of a disaster. There’s a bit of fruitiness but little of that peppery spicy thing you usually get with the style. Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 10, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Serviceable saison. Peppery aroma. Cloaves. A little lace. So-so drinkability. 7% not felt over spices, but a little more than I would ideally like. Tmoney99 (15119) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Tap sample at BBC. Poured hazy yellow color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate herbal, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy spice sweet flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a friend to drink one.

tap at beer engine. doughy. light rot. vegetal. earthy. burnt toasty malts. low drinkability. not typical saison. too malty. a touch of booze. not my cup of tea. Dogbrick (14309) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 31, 2011
Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin and fizzy white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and citrus. Light, somewhat crisp body with flavors of sweet malt, yeast and fruit. The finish is mildly spiced and fruity, with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Buckeye Beer Engine. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Sweet malt nose with Belgian yeast, coriander and citrus. Sweet malt flavor with some caramel, herbs and citrus before a semi-tart finish. Good saison.
