Had a bottle of this over a week ago. Nose of spice, spruce, resin, and brown sugar.
Pours a clear copper. The tall wispy head is white, mostly lasting, with great lacing. The
brew has a balanced start that quickly moves deep into the hops spectrum. Almost no
acidity. The finish is soft, toasty, and bitter. The full body is soft and dry. Highly
recommended. elnadeau (786) - Laguna Niguel, California, USA - JAN 15, 2004
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2004 Looks nice in the glass, aroma is hoppy citrus. Flavor is slightly out of balance on the hops side, some citrus tones come through. Overall a decent APA. JasonG (776) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - JUL 9, 2006
light copper color with medium sized creamy head that lasts forever. Aroma has moderate amount of citrusy hops, fairly malty, lots of caramel. Flavor has chewy malts, fair amount of citrusy hops, moderate caramel, with a decently bitter finish. A nice pale, although a bit darker and maltier than I like my pale ales. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - SEP 7, 2003
Buckeye and I don't seem to be seeing "eye to eye". Citrusness became more appearant after warming, but wasn't a beer I would have drank warm. It was just the hoppy bite at the end kept me from drinking it too fast. bluemeow76 (693) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - DEC 26, 2002
Hmmmm, pale ale. An excellent pale! Deep amber pour, thick foamy head, great balance of hops and citrus.

Bottle. Pours dark amber and clear. Nice hoppy aroma - pine and citrus. Flavor is also very piney and citrus hoppy, with some caramel malts in the back. Kinda thin / watery - needs more malts. Decent. beerhugger (542) - Oshawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 2, 2004
Huge thanks to kujo9 for throwing thisn one into our trade. Beautiful copper brown amber colour. Big frothy white head that diminishes to a thin lasting film. Some hops and citrus go along with the sweet malts on the nose. Refreshing and smooth balance of sweet and bitter - very drinkable, prehaps as a session beer. This beer has a nice head, generous hopping and a very crisp flavor. Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - AUG 14, 2004
Slightly citrusy malt and hop aroma. A bit like a more civilized IPA...
Nice amber colour with a small head. Pretty much IPA light in flavour, too. Eirikur (386) - hafnarfjordur, ICELAND - JUN 30, 2004
Another average IPA, I cannot really say much about this brew ! Neutral, average.
