Bomber. I think that Foreign Extra Stout is basically my favorite thing ever, so when it is done right it’s great! Pours a totally black hue with a medium light beige head. A sweet nose of ash, caramel and plum. The flavor is lovely; sweet cocoa and caramel, light citrus hops, some fruit, dry ash and roast. Certainly some bitterness in the finish pushing this towards a hoppy brew, lingering coffee in the tail. Some metallic bite. Lovely. Plovmand (8532) - Grindsted, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle. Pours black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is fruity hops, spices, roasted malts and light chocolate. The flavor is dark roasted malts, exotic fruits, chocolate and licorice. Nice one.

Sample from 650 ml. bottle. Black with a reddish hue. Dense, tan head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, vanilla, coconut, floral and citrus hops. Hints of chocolate. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Long lasting, roasted finish. Nice stout - I like the leaning towards Tropical... reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Pours deep brown/black with a thick mocha head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma is big and roasty with lots of dark fruit...fig, plum...a bit boozy. Flavor follows suit and adds some burnt notes...very roasty, very hoppy...nice bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium/full and the finish is burnt and bitter...very dry and lingering, warming.

Bomber from trade with DrSilverworm. Pours pitch black with a big khaki head that fades normally, some lacing too. Aroma is roasty and chocolaty. Pretty nice. Light fruitiness too which must be the tropical fruit. Taste is sweet and bitter at the same time. Medium roast, light chocolate, tropical fruit, licorice. Finish is smooth but leaves a slight chalky taste. Thick and creamy mouthfeel. Solid stout. SlackerMads (3433) - DENMARK - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle. Black with a light brown good lacing head. Sweet chocolate, roasted, pineapple, mango, light alcohol, light roasted bitterness in the finish. Filling mouthfeel, dry, ok. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - AUG 29, 2012
22oz bottle from Dutch’s Bar & Bottle Shop in Cincinnati, OH. Pours a very deep brown, mostly black colored body with a finger-width, creamy, dark brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is sweet caramels as well as a light chocolate and molasses up front with a moderate dark fruitiness and a light roast backing. Flavor is sweet initially with a pretty woody hopping. Plummy dark fruits, caramel, chocolate, and a light molasses before an ashy roast comes in. Finishes sweet, but somewhat bitter and dry from the ashy roasts and woody hops. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, this grew on me more as it warmed. Pretty sweet, but very roasty and fairly bitter. Hides the alcohol well and stays pretty easy drinking. Not bad. AWISLguy (3234) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 27, 2013
Bomber aged a year in the cellar brought by ck1 from Vintage Estates, thanks bro. Pours a very dark brown with little head. Aroma has cocoa and some fruit and soy. Taste is of sweet caramel, with chocolate and hints of sweet pitted fruit (peach? mango?). A sweetly bitter finish. A bit cocoa-y. A strange blend with the cocoa and the fruit. Shrug? A decent brew - ck1 also a 14. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - DEC 15, 2012
