COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American IPA

Loads of Crystal and Sterling hops lead the way in producing huge citrus and pine aromatics. Hoppiness is supported with a clean, slightly biscuity malt backbone.

   AROMA 8/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
DrnkMcDermott (3136) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2014
Draft at Standard Market, June. Cloudy amber color, a spongy head just a pinky finger wide. The PNW hops can be easily detected while the glass is still on the counter, growing in orange citrus character. Nose has more fresh hops up close. Taste is an upfront punch of orange juice and pine needles, and heavily bitter. More prickly carbonation. The strong hop palate remains as an afterburn.

nearbeer (5600) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 25, 2017
12 oz. canned 07/18/2017. Thanks to Party Bob for bringing me a couple of these. Light fog on the golden-amber pour, with nice legs supporting a creamy film of bubbles. Aromas of zesty lemon, mildly earthy biscuit, resinous herb, toffee and some orange flesh. Flavors of lemon balm, minty herb, peppery orange zest, papaya, evergreen resin and caramel. Crisp dry finish hints at garlic. Light-medium bodied with medium-plus tingly fizz that thankfully remains smooth.

Draft: Poured a bright blonde color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of citrusy hops with light cereal notes also noticeable is pleasant enough. Taste is a nice mix of citrusy hops notes with some light cereal and some light bitter notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed and refreshing with good drinkability factor.

3.8
Thechasm442 (1006) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 14, 2016
Fresh can to tulip. Mostly clear caramel color with an average white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is pineapple. mango, melon, orange zest and a bit of a mustiness. Taste is loaded with pine and citrus. Tropical fruits as well. Some of that slight musty flavor is in the background, in a good way. Decently juicy and a semi dry finish. Nice beer.
