On draught at Buckman-Kerns Brewfest at EastBurn. Aroma of bubble gum, like a German hefeweizen. Tastes like fresh apple juice paired with a saison. Nice smooth, sweet finish.

Part of a flight on June 29, 2015. At the brewpub (Green Dragon Bistro and Pub) in Portland.
Hazy golden color, white head. Belgian spicy yeasty, sweet taste. Sweet, spicy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Some banana. Sweet, spicy scent.
Was expecting a lot of apples, felt more like a strong Belgian blonde with less CO2 than normal for the style.

On tap @ Green Dragon. Clear golden pour without much of a head at all. Lives up to its name with a lot of apple and not much else. Somewhat cidery. Maybe some prepackaged applesauce. Mild aluminum foil. The flavor is just kind of sweet and non-descript, other than the whole apple thing. Just a bunch of sugary apple juice drink. Not much else.

mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2015
On tap at Green Dragon, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out apples and Belgian yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium sweet apples upheld by lots of Belgian yeast. Rater sickly sweet and fake apples. Not a fan of this.

slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 17, 2014
"Poured as a sample at the PDX Green Dragon. Aroma earthy, light apple and more spice. Body and flavor are thin, apple & ginger, kinda blah though it sounded cool..."

Tap at brewery. Deep yellow gold pour. Apple, wheat and grape. Light to medium body. Good beer

Ok. Murky Cloudy. Apple is in the middle. Not strong apple though. Gala and delicious apples.

Beese (3064) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2014
Draft at The Green Dragon in Portland, OR on 29 May 2013. Clear, pale golden colour with a thin halo of white head. Strong aroma of fresh green apples and some wheat. Straw and yeast in the flavours, whilst maintaining the apple sweetness. Some spice in the finish.

unclemattie (4357) - Georgia, USA - DEC 13, 2013
22oz bottle, mail ordered from ROGUE. Clear golden color. Big fizz. Aroma of over ripened apple’s & hops. It’s an interesting cider. Classified as a Fruit Beer, as it’s 2-row based, flavored with Golden & Gala apples. Finishes like a dry Belgian Ale. (3909)
