This was a really good beer for the price. A nice malty lager that would be great for warmer weather as a change from the mass produced beers everyone is so accustomed to. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - MAR 24, 2004
A standard amber lager, not unlike Yuengling. Easy drinking, smooth, but not a whole lot going on. Could very easily become a regular beer for me. raymow (1787) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 4, 2004
Tastes like a typical PA lager (similar to Yuengling, Loyalhanna, etc.). Very drinkable, but nothing exceptional. Since it's local, I'm sure I'll have it again. amx1970390 (480) - Southampton, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2003
Rubber like aroma. Amber color, medium sized head. Watery bland taste, hard to swallow. Some beer from River Horse is quite nice, this blows. Corduroy (2) - Boyertown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2003 does not count
This beer tasted like water. There was no body to it what so ever. I was very displeased with this beer. Never purchase this.
ConiseurofBeer (242) - Downingtown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2003
This beer had a horrible nose. It was watery and tasted like old shoes. Its only saving grace was the nice amber hue it had. When I called Bucks County Brewing Company which is actually River Horse Brewing the person on the phone couldn't even give me a description of the beer or it's alcohol content. Very Unimpressive beer.
