Do the people who formulate these sugary beverages ever try them themselves? Would they say "Oh S-- we have a problem!" if they did? When I opened the can and first tasted, I knew I shouldn’t continue, but the taste lured me in. I got a major stomachache and poured the rest down the sink. This combination of sugar and alcohol doesn’t work at all for me, and I’ve been this way all of my life. I wonder how many other people experience a similar reaction? The stomachache is the outstanding feature that makes all of the other characteristics irrelevant. IPagan5 (106) - San Marcos, California, USA - APR 1, 2015
This is absolutely horrid. Not even the Rita part is palatable. This is grain water with added bile. Couldn’t finish eight ounces. Yuck. Cool_Bond (2673) - KUNG_AV_OL @ Instagram, SWEDEN - MAR 25, 2015
Good smell and taste of lime. Very carbonic acid. OK bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth briefly. Okay beer but not so much beer. More like a drink than a beer. Too much carbon dioxide. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 16, 2015
[2/18/15] Can on the bus on the way to LA. Hazy green-ish pale yellow. Aroma of alcohol, lime-scented detergent and a spicy hint. Sweet flavor with artificial lime, saccharine, a sourish note and some alcohol. Light-bodied and sticky. DCLawyer (2845) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Mini can to mini lager. Cloudy lime juice. Smells like a margarita. Tastes like DuPont made a margarita.

8 oz. can from Safeway. It pours a milky pale green color with a fizzy, disappearing head. The aroma is strong with sweet margarita mix, lime and light alcohol. The flavor is super sweet with more lime, sugar, alcohol. This was slightly less sweet and more palatable than the straw-ber-ita, but still cloyingly sweet and basically tasted like a bad margerita. The price is right though at $1 a can. I can see why some people would want to slam these at a party. mkel07 (5963) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 25, 2015
Can from Coco Cove market Honolulu 240115. Looks a lot like a ginger beer when poured into a glass. Big hit of citrusy lime in the nose. Refreshing on a hot day. czar (9066) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 23, 2015
pours hazy pale yellow with a quickly disappearing white cap, no lacing. sweet and not-so-artificial lime, other citrus, refined cane sugar, rather well integrated booze - maybe pure ethanol, touch of zest with its very light acidity/astringency, plain grass. surprisingly light carbonation, light to medium body - oily, sweet and limey-lightly grassy finish. not horrid. slowrunner77 (12043) - Reno, Nevada, USA - DEC 27, 2014
Says a lot about the beer that I like this artificial (yet refreshing) swill significantly better than bud light. lime and salt, sweet, lightly tart, underlying funk from the swill. $1 - can’t complain. alexsdad06 (10414) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 24, 2014
8 oz can. Pours a hazy light golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have a sweet lime margarita inspired mess, somewhat syrupy and artificial in nature, I guess some might find this interesting, but I would not revisit this again. Kind of shocked it is 8%.
