7/24/14. I guess Valdosta is ahead of the -Rita curve. The wife graciously brought home a small single can of this bad boy. First to rate! This luscious brew pours the exact color of apple juice except with a short lived off-white head that fades to nothing almost instantly. The aroma does in fact smell like apple juice and red apples, but with a fake aspect that makes me think of green Jolly Ranchers. Thereís also a definite booziness in the aroma that distracts a bit. The flavor hits strong with red apple and apple juice but transitions mid-palate to a more familiar sweet, lightly tart, limey, Lime-a-Rita aspect so you donít forget youíre drinking a supposed "apple margarita" - the most common of margarita variations, of course. Basically itís on the sort of sweeter side of the -Rita line with a big dose of apple flavoring. Itís not as good as the Cranberry (what is, really?), but not nearly as bad as the horrendous Mango.
Iím not going to bother describing the appearance. Just look at the can in the pic and think of it without the ice that they put in to make it and thatís how I drank this. Yup, no head or lace.
The aroma was pure apple sugary sweetness.
The flavor was the same with an overly sweet aftertaste and finish.
The palate was actually light bodied with not much sessionability as the sugary components are too distracted.
Overall, if I ever met the person who designed these beers, Iíd like to ask them who pissed in your Wheaties that you had to brew something like this? ruigo (2706) - PORTUGAL - NOV 28, 2016
237ml can. Pale yellow. Apple and sweet aroma. Taste is sweet with apple notes. Too sweet. jackl (8011) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2016
Sample shared @ RBWG Tampa. Thanks to whoever brought this! Whale watch! Deep golden pour with a small white head. Nose is overwhelmed with a fairly artificial apple concentrate aroma. Little else. Flavor is similarly bizarre. Slightly tart apple and general sweet grain and cardboard. Spritzy and syrupy at the same time. A bit of a chore. Not as bad as some others in the series, I guess. Still, not good. ClarkVV (6636) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 29, 2016
Big olí 22oz can that my buddy bought 2 Octobers ago while camping. Holy god is this awful. Difficult to even swallow. Chemical, intense, cloying, artificial apple and "spices". Is there bud lite in this too? I feel bad for the people that resort to drinking this. Crack is a hell of a drug. obguthr (6294) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - NOV 16, 2015
Aroma of apple juice and jolly rancher apple flavor. Crystal clear amber, headless. Jollly rancher flavor, tangy and sweet, somewhat noticeable fusel alcohol. Medium body, easy carbonation, warm. Rougth edges but enjoyable, not really beer, but no one expects it to be.

Little red bull size can offered at a tasting. Huge thanks to Eugene for helping me with this whale. Rating from notes. Pours an apple juice appearance with no head. Huge green apple aroma. Hard candy aroma and flavor. So sweet. So So So sweet. Iím going to continue to say that these are not beers, but there are technicalities with everything these days. Tastes like an oversweetened apple iced tea, and not a great one, with intense cinnamon apple. First and last of this one. ContemplateBeer (2089) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Little can courtesy of my brother Matt; consumed over ice (cubed) from a red Solo cup. While playing cornhole. In Indiana. íMurica. Aroma: Green Jolly Rancher candy green apple hooch. Appearance: Caramel color (added) with a fizzy white head thatís gone in a blink. Flavor: Pretty much matches the nose; fairly tart green apple candy up front with a boozy, backyard hooch thing going on. Sweet sweet sweet and keeps on "giving". Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, long finish. Overall: This is pretty low brow, but I finished my can. Still not worth a revisit. edgallow (4146) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 2, 2015
pours golden with a white head. Aroma and taste is apples but way too sweet for me. Theydon_Bois (19189) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2015
Can shared at RBWG í15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever shared this one, 21/02/15.
Light golden with a moderate off white cap.
Nose is sweet apple pie, apple pulp, sugar.
Taste comprises sweet notes, sugar, apple pie - much the same as the nose.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet close.
Too sweet, carries the booze off well, if you like sweet boost juice this could be right up your alley! slowrunner77 (11891) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 29, 2015
not horrid, but not good. would fit the bill at a back door bbq. I got a sinlge cause Iím a whore. apple, lime, bud light...itís all there, for better or worse.
