Purple with no head but a really great razberry smell. Not really getting a margarita vibe from it as I did from the Lime-ber-rita or the Straw-ber-rita but rather a Razberry wine cooler feel. It is good and it is refreshing but not going to put it high on my must have list. Since my son is not 21 yet but he did try some of this one and he really liked it I bumped my scores up a bit for him. He seems to think it is very good and wants me to pick up a couple cans for him but then again he likes wine coolers. Kids what do they know!

16oz can from the state store
Pours clear dark purple with a small dark pink head that dissipates quickly, no lacing. Aroma is sweet, red fruit. Taste is of berries, sweet, sugary with a tart, dry finish

Rating #1849 - 2015.08.06 - Girlfriend-purchased garbage that is taking up valuable food fridge space. This isnt beer folks, this is malt-beverage-premix-alchopop stuff. Artificial medicinal raspberry, alcoholic, pre-made margarita that somehow has beer as a starting point. Might be suitable as Gettin Laid Lemonade.

Jolly rancher in a can...a giant 24 ounce of sweet raz a Rita goodness. Yikes. How many more fruits can they abuse?

Can courtesy of Craig cheers mate! Consumed at home down the office, Sunday 24th April 2016 Reddy/purple pour, fizzy. Yes this is just a straight up alco-pop, kids would love it, its sickly sweet, but fruity, like a sort of raspberry ribena concoction but with added alcohol, its difficult not too like it if you quite like sweet stuff and I do, so it could be a guilty pleasure, but really, mmhhh... I just couldnt be seen drinking it and was feeling my teeth getting coated with the stuff so threw over half the can away before I started buzzing too much. . A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0

It tastes just about as unnatural as a cheap fruit beer by Budweiser can. Kind of like candy.

237ml (8oz) can bought at Q-Club in SoHo, Central.

Translucent Ribena-like pinkish purple colour; Near zero head and residual soapy off-pink foam which fades in 5 seconds; Poor stickly lacing with notable slight carbonation; Sweet aroma of light malt, with strong raspberry, lime soda, Ribena, lemonade and sugar; Mid to strong sweet taste of light malt, with notable tequila-like alcohol, raspberry juice, light liquorices, sugar, and lime cordial; Medium body, Slick and quite boozy palate; Mouth feel is fairly light maltyness in a pretty alcoholic background. Cocktail booze permeates but is notably lighter than those of Lime-A-Rita and Straw-Ber-Rita. Both the raspberry is watery juicy like, and sugar sweetness is surprisingly not overbearing, medium sweet but tolerable. Lime cordial round things up. Not bad at all! Bitterness (sort of) is mostly from the light liquorices, fairly notable to mix with moderate sugar for a sweet-cocktail finish; Wet after taste. Very easy and quite sweet to mouth.

Comments: After the truly awful Straw-Ber-Rita, this is a genuine surprise with better raspberry fruity flavor and much less sweetness. Make no mistake, this is still a beer-cocktail mix for party, but it also by far one of the most drinkable and, dare I say, enjoyable one from the Rita series. Definitely okay for what it is.

25 oz. can. Pours a minimal, short lived head, over a fizzy, clear, reddish purple body......nose is raspberry, lime, cherry, no malts or hops.......taste is sweet raspberry, lime, mild cereal, no hops, no esters.....mouth feel, light body, mild alcohol, high carbonation, moderate astringency. This is a joke of a fruit beer, as the artificial sweetener, and "natural" flavors are utterly dominant and the beer itself is just liquid, without character. The product is not aimed at people who drink beer, it is more for people who like alcoholic soda. BJCP 5/1/7/3/4

tepid raspberry. punchy chemical raspberry nose. Fruity raspberry front palate, heavy effervescent chemical mid, co2 bitterness, light syrup sugary finish. Red Ritas are the ones to seek out when parched during the 7th inning stretch. Get on the scale bus, n00bs

Found lurking in our outside fridge while I was cleaning it out; Im sure this ages beautifully. Overall, better than expected for a beer drenched in artificial flavorings and colorings. You could actually taste a little of the base beer and the 8% wasnt completely in your face. Fine for what it is I suppose.
