The beer based margarita is now introduced with strawberry flavoring. This is our take on the traditional margarita. Beer drinkers were already mixing Bud Light Lime into margaritas to create ‘beer ritas’; Lime-a-Rita just adds a new level of convenience by providing a beverage with the perfect balance of flavors. *6% ABV version of Bud Light Lime Straw-Ber-Rita is available in Maine, New Hampshire and Tennessee

Big 25 oz can. at a friends house.

Ocassion - I hate my job.

Pours a flat red color. It gets a 2 here, only because it’s red.

Aroma is of artificial wild strawberry, and lime. Has a whiff of alcohol in the aroma.

Taste is pretty much like a melted frozen daquiri. It’s a little salty, and surprisingly limey. Not bad.

Mouthfeel is medium. It has a little alcohol twang to it. It’s a little bitter from the lime. It’s refreshing.

Overall, not bad. Better than the lime one. Granted, it’s not really a beer, and for that it’s a fail. But it succeeds in being a flavored beer. Yes, I would probably buy this again, if the price was right, I paid over $3 for this one. I would probably recommend it, even though it’s not great.

Strong artificial strawberry aroma. Bright pink with little head. Flavour is very sweet with strawberry and hardly any beerish flavour. Palate is like carbonated soda.

Can. Pinkish-red in color. Ok, this is pretty bad. You take strawberry-lime powdered drink and mix it with your beer and this is what you would get.

mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 15, 2015
Pours a hazy pink with a quickly fizzing out head that doesn’t leave any lacing. Nose is of a soft drink with a sweet artificial fruit aspect. Taste is moderately sweet and fruity, just like drinking some strawberry soft drink. Body is light and carbonation high. Refreshing to some extent. Overall I wouldn’t call this a beer and flavors were really artificial but it still drank not too bad.

How: Horizontal tasting at home with the infamous Franky Boy. Cans (236 ml).

All 5 were super artificial but much easier to drink than I thought it would be. Artificial fruity alcoholic cola.

Cran-Brrr-Rita 8% Very sweet nose and a bit acrid flavor even though it’s super artificial. 4-3-4-2-9 = 2.2

Lime-A-Rita 6% Lemonade-like color. Intense artificial lime aroma, like slush puppies. A bit puckering. 4-3-4-2-8 = 2.1

Mang-O-Rita 6% Glowing peaches color. Gummy peaches alcoholic cola. Probably the sweetness of the five. 5-3-5-2-9 = 2.4

Raz-Ber-Rita 6% It’s really similar to the raspberry Jell-O that I had in terms of artificial raspberry flavors. 5-3-5-2-8 = 2.3

Straw-Ber-Rita 6% Super artificial, like the others. The softest of the five and rather easy drinking. Gummy strawberries. 5-3-5-2-9 = 2.4

8oz can from the store down the street. Lightly hazy reddish pink color with a light pink head that dissipates almost instantly. Artificial strawberry aroma and flavor dominate this "beer." Light salt and sour mix make up the rest of this. It ain’t beer but I think it succeeded in what it set out to imitate.

SpringsLicker (3664) - Tennessee, USA - MAY 11, 2015
8 oz can local supermarket. Slightly cloudy candy-pink. Artificial strawberry aroma. Tastes like a strawberry soda.

Patrickctenchi (6691) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 6, 2015
Can: Cloudy, light red with a small pinkish head. Strawberry, lime aroma. Taste is slightly salty strawberry, lime.... Sweet, but marginally less so than the high octane version..... Sadly...it doesn’t add much to the appeal.

shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - APR 2, 2015
Can. Strawberry lime and salt aroma. Hazy ruby red minimal head. Tangy strawberry lime and light malt flavor. Actually kind of taste beer in this one.

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - DEC 28, 2014
Poured from an 8 oz can into a pint glass. Aroma- Smells like a strawberry daiquiri Appearance -It looks like a strawberry soda with heavy carbonation and no head. Taste - Not a bad flavor, it is a strawberry daiquiri and I couldn’t taste any beer flavorings in this at all. Palate- Light bodied overly carbonated drink. Overall - This isn’t to bad, don’t think this is a fruit beer, it’s not. it tastes like a daiquiri, I would drink this again if offered to me.
