The beer based margarita is now introduced with strawberry flavoring. This is our take on the traditional margarita. Beer drinkers were already mixing Bud Light Lime into margaritas to create ‘beer ritas’; Lime-a-Rita just adds a new level of convenience by providing a beverage with the perfect balance of flavors.

botttle at craig’s july tasting
light pink, thin, fruity, more aritificial than other two, but then not a big fan of strawberries. fills a gap in market i suppose.

This was inflected on at an esbls tasting. This is really not very good. It i too sweet and the alcohol does this no favors. I guess somebody must like this. Not me.

welp, why not try it. drank from the can after making popsicles. oh my sugar! A truly nauseating amount of sugar with some saltiness and tequila flavors. whew. then the boost kicks in and makes my head spin. the strawberry is second or third fiddle in this "beer" when it comes to the booze and -rita. Probably the worst of the fruit varients.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 Bright pink and hazy Smells good like strawberry and cream Sweet. Like flat soda. This is really good. This is improved with a vodka addition stirred with ice.

Bright red like cherry kool-aid. Kool. Pours without head. Smells like the lime -a-rita... a mixture of beer, salt, and sugar. The taste is very similar to the lime-a-rita as well with only a faint hint of strawberry. In fact, in a blind taste test, you may have trouble discerning between the two.

Can: Poured a pinkish color with white head. Aroma is strawberry. Taste is a nice citrus strawberry that was a great breakfast beer camping.

I still like the Cheladas. I could pretend to like the lime but I still have cans of this in the fridge from a birthday party 4 months ago. Better over ice but it’s a cooler.

Orangish-red color with a quick noisy pink head that just disappeared. No head and fruit punch colored is no way for a beer to start out. Nose of strawberry flavored Jell-o powder. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, lime, popsicle, and Hawaiian punch. This is not beer in any sense. This is a strawberry flavored malt beverage. That being said, this doesn’t taste bad. It just isn’t beer.

Can. Sampled at gregwilsonstl’s tasting. It poured a hazy red color with no head. The aroma was of artificial lime, sugar and strawberry. The taste was similar to the aroma with more strawberry, sugar, lime and some alcohol.

fiery strawberry, thin frothy white ring. Stinging fiery strawberry nose, sugar burning harshly, chemical bitterness. Fruity palate is soft, watery but no chemicals, thin fizzy end. Learn the scale n00bs.
