COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bud Light Platinum has reinvented the category of light beer. Within each cobalt blue bottle lies a bold formula that’s triple filtered with a smooth finish to create its stop shelf taste. Its the first of its kind, and the only beer worthy of the name Bud Light Platinum.

I’ll score it slightly higher than Bud Light by .1. It had a grainy aroma with a pale yellow color. It had carbonation that helped hide what little flavor it had.

Pours light yellow with decent white head that quickly fades. Smells like corn bread and wet hay. Taste like grains and a little cheap alcohol with high carbonation. Slightly larger body than a normal bud. It’s just a bigger bud light. Boring, but not too offensive.

Smells slinky with a taste of corn and rich. Highly fizzy and alcoholic with a hard grain alcohol taste it. It bud light with a kick. Nothing else

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2012 The aroma is sweet, corn, adjuncts, noble hops, slight booze. The appearance is pale yellow, white head. The flavor is sweet, corn and other adjuncts, noble hops. Some boozy, solvent like flavors as well. Something like a malt liquor. The finish is very sweet upfront, and eventually I get a light noble hop bittering. Medium in body. Not at all good, but could be worse. Seems a little sweeter and heavier than the standard Bud Light.

Bottle @ home. Last time I was at armin’s house, he had a dozen of these in his fridge but neglected to bring one to one of our tastings, so I was forced to buy a case to rate this bad boy. Not a screw off cap, very classy. Out comes in a blue violet, metallic colored glass bottle that is strangely similar to Skyy Blue bottles (bring that shit back!) Clear pale appearance with a big white head that dissipates quickly. Rich corny, pale malty, boozy aroma reminiscent of a weak malt liquor. Fairly strong, corny (or is rice?), a bit skunked flavor that does taste like a strong Bud Light. Somewhat crisp. Not overly offensive but it does suck balls. 23 more bottles to go.

Pours pale yellow with thin white head. Taste is watery and uninspired. Had this a graduation party, so I’m glad I didn’t buy it.

Pours a pale yellow with a bubbly white foamy head Aroma of cider and pale American lager. Taste is notably sweeter than bud light. Still finishes crisp but with a small sour note. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear, pale, golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma is weak with bready and grainy notes. Flavor is is hardly noticeable but essentially the typical watery swill. Increased ABV is hardly noticeable as well. I don’t understand this brew as it is just a Bud Light.

What happens when you mix bud light with alcohol? You get this nasty ass beer.

Absolutely gross. Tasted like bud light mixed with vodka. I bought this based on curiosity only but I had to pour out almost the whole bottle. Surprised this is actually rated higher than budweiser.
